Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Katie Connolly and Tim Newton
This area of SW Florida is close to our hearts. We’ve been fortunate to spend a lot of time here, and we are excited to share some of our favorite spots with you!
Barefoot Beach

Barefoot Beach

Barefoot Beach, FL 34134

Barefoot beach is our favorite beach in Naples! The white sand, warm (usually calm) water, beautiful sunsets, and turtles, makes this a great spot to bring a picnic and spend an afternoon. We recommend driving down to the Southernmost beach — you will pass some amazing homes on the way in. Just be careful of the turtles when you park! Note - if you're staying at the Perry Hotel, they provide a free boat shuttle from the hotel to Barefoot Beach.

Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park

Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park

11135 Gulf Shore Drive, Naples, FL 34108

This is another one of our favorite beach spots. With white-sand beaches, clear water, and picnic spots, this is a great place to spend a day. And it's located only a few miles from both of our recommended hotels.

Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens

Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens

1590 Goodlette-Frank Road, Naples, FL 34102

Naples Zoo is a great way to spend some time here in Naples. The nationally accredited zoo features tropical flowers, lions, giraffes, bears, and more. And don’t forget to visit the “Monkey Boat” where our friend Doug is one of the boat captains.

Revs Institute, Inc.

Revs Institute, Inc.

2500 Horseshoe Drive South, Naples, FL 34104

This museum is dedicated to the study and preservation of historically significant automobiles. It has some really cool cars. Note - you must purchase tickets online in advance.

The Fish House Restaurant

4685 Bonita Beach Road Southwest, Bonita Springs, FL 34134

We love sitting outside under the tiki hut. This is a great, casual, water-front lunch spot.

Bayside Seafood Grill & Bar

4270 Gulf Shore Boulevard North, Naples, FL 34103

Bayside is a an excellent, up-scale destination for fresh seafood and classic cuisine, located near both of our recommended hotels. Bayside offers two full bars, live music, and a waterfront location. Open daily for lunch and dinner.

Coconut Jack's Waterfront Grille

5370 Bonita Beach Road Southwest, Bonita Springs, FL 34134

Coconut Jacks is a fun, waterfront restaurant in Bonita Springs (about 10 minutes north of our recommended hotels). Voted Bonita's Best Waterfront Restaurant 2011-2025, they also have a fun selection of t-shirts and apparel.

Junkanoo Below Deck

4761 Estero Boulevard, Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931

One of our favorite spots to grab an appetizer and drink is Junkanoo. Located on Fort Myers Beach Road, this fun spot has a beautiful bay view, outdoor seating, and cocktail specials. It's a great place to enjoy the beautiful weather (and we've even seen dolphins swimming in the bay). Accessible by car or boat.

Hole in 1 Bagels & Deli

28441 South Tamiami Trail, Suite 201, Bonita Springs, FL 34134

This is our favorite bagel store and deli. We love to grab breakfast or lunch sandwiches here to bring to the beach. Family owned, very friendly service, and they serve Boar's Head meats. And great bagels (even if they aren’t quite NYC bagels).

5th Avenue South

5th Avenue South, Naples, FL 34102

One of the nation’s most exclusive addresses, 5th Avenue South is home to upscale fashion and jewelry, spas, fine dining, entertainment, and, of course . . . exotic cars.

Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary Boardwalk
