Barefoot beach is our favorite beach in Naples! The white sand, warm (usually calm) water, beautiful sunsets, and turtles, makes this a great spot to bring a picnic and spend an afternoon. We recommend driving down to the Southernmost beach — you will pass some amazing homes on the way in. Just be careful of the turtles when you park! Note - if you're staying at the Perry Hotel, they provide a free boat shuttle from the hotel to Barefoot Beach.
Naples Zoo is a great way to spend some time here in Naples. The nationally accredited zoo features tropical flowers, lions, giraffes, bears, and more. And don’t forget to visit the “Monkey Boat” where our friend Doug is one of the boat captains.
We love sitting outside under the tiki hut. This is a great, casual, water-front lunch spot.
Bayside is a an excellent, up-scale destination for fresh seafood and classic cuisine, located near both of our recommended hotels. Bayside offers two full bars, live music, and a waterfront location. Open daily for lunch and dinner.
Coconut Jacks is a fun, waterfront restaurant in Bonita Springs (about 10 minutes north of our recommended hotels). Voted Bonita's Best Waterfront Restaurant 2011-2025, they also have a fun selection of t-shirts and apparel.
One of our favorite spots to grab an appetizer and drink is Junkanoo. Located on Fort Myers Beach Road, this fun spot has a beautiful bay view, outdoor seating, and cocktail specials. It's a great place to enjoy the beautiful weather (and we've even seen dolphins swimming in the bay). Accessible by car or boat.
This is our favorite bagel store and deli. We love to grab breakfast or lunch sandwiches here to bring to the beach. Family owned, very friendly service, and they serve Boar's Head meats. And great bagels (even if they aren’t quite NYC bagels).
One of the nation’s most exclusive addresses, 5th Avenue South is home to upscale fashion and jewelry, spas, fine dining, entertainment, and, of course . . . exotic cars.
