What's the easiest way to get to-and-from your wedding venue/resort?

Answer

The best way to get to the resort is by booking a private transfer from the airport at least a week or so before your trip. It is approximately 30 minutes to get from the airport to the resort. Transportation to-and-from the airport can be coordinated through the resort directly.

Is there a room block available?

Answer

Yes! Garza Blanca Cancun has been very accommodating in getting each of our guests a discounted rate for their stay. Please visit the Travel page for more information.

What should I do if I don't make it into the room block?

Answer

If you miss the deadline to reserve a room in our block, reach out to Whitney or directly to the hotel event coordinator and mention our wedding anyway—they may be able to accommodate you with our discount in a room outside of our block.

Are my children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, only the children or families listed on the formal invitations are invited to attend.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors on a beautiful terrace overlooking the beach, while cocktail hour will be right next to our reception space, Garza Blanca Cancun's Tierra Luna. The reception space, while outside, is covered.

What to do in Cancun in January?

Answer

January is a high season month in Cancun for a reason. It offers warm and dry days perfect for exploring the ruins, visiting cenote water caves, or snorkeling in the clear waters.

Guests staying at the resort can enjoy a gourmet array of TAFER’s signature restaurants, which feature cuisines from around the globe, including Mexican, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, and American. 24-hour room service is also available. Their most prestigious restaurants are part of the Gourmet Culinary All-Inclusive plan: Blanca Blue, the Food Truck, the Snack and Swim Up Bar (plus Hiroshi, DAO, BocaDos Steak House, the Gourmet Hall, and the Rooftop all coming soon), and all Villa del Palmar Cancun’s restaurants.

Garza Blanca Cancun’s reception is open 24/7. However, the check-in begins at 4:00 pm, and the check-out ends at 11:00 am.

Are babysitting services available?

Answer

Yes! Garza Blanca Cancun offers babysitting services with an added charge. However, you would need to schedule in advance to reserve.

Is it safe to travel to Mexico?

Answer

Yes. Mexico is safe and very accommodating to tourists. Rest assured the resort town of Cancun is one of the largest resort destinations in Mexico, with tourist areas deemed safe for travelers to explore.

Does Garza Blanca have a kids’ club or other kid friendly activities?

Answer

Yes, a Kids’ Club is available for your youngest guests, aged 4-12 with dynamic programming including crafts and games. Also, check out the Family Program for extra kids amenities. The hotel also offers babysitting services that can be arranged through hotel concierge upon arriving in Cancun. Lastly, if you are traveling with your children, the hotel has pack-n-plays, high chairs and other equipment to use free of charge during your stay. To take advantage of this convenience, make sure to contact the hotel and reserve these items before your trip. Without prior reservation, the hotel cannot guarantee such items will be available.

Adults can go to the Rooftop, an adults-only area, and enjoy lounging around the infinity pool while sipping a refreshing cocktail, head to the spa for a relaxing massage, or relish a romantic private dinner on the beach.

Yes! Swimming is a delight in Costa Mujeres! The gentler waves and clearer waters create optimal conditions for a refreshing ocean swim.
