Kim and Travis met at the West Chester University climbing wall in the student recreation center in Fall of 2016. Travis had just started his Master's degree and Kim was in her second year of Undergrad. The two became fast friends going to yoga in the morning and getting lunch in between classes. Towards the end of their last year at WCU Travis helped Kim study for her finals in Starbucks and ordering, what felt like, endless tacos to the campus library. Travis moved to Texas in early 2020 to pursue his career goals just as Kim was beginning her job in a law firm in New York. Kim decided to visit Travis before both of their lives started to pick up. During their time together their friendship only grew stronger. On August 16, 2020, Travis and Kim were on the phone (still miles apart), and he told her he began to think of her as more than a friend. Kim expressed the same and the rest is history! Now on August 16, 2025, our families will join their story and witness their marriage.
