Are kids invited?

We love your kids, but we respectfully ask to please leave them at home for our event, unless otherwise noted on your RSVP

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

All our RSVPs will be done online only. Please click the RSVP tab and type your name and follow the directions from there.

What is the deadline to RSVP?

Please RSVP as soon as possible. The last date for reserving your plate is September 13, 2022

Can I change my RSVP?

Answer

Yes! You can update your RSVP and meal choices until our deadline of September 13, 2022. If you need to change your RSVP after that date please reach out to us directly!

What should I do if I cant make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Semi- Formal, please. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, so are suits and cocktail dresses.

What will the weather be like? Is the Ceremony and Reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Since it will be November in the northeast, the weather can sometimes be unpredictable. The cocktail hour and reception will take place indoors, but please plan to be outdoors for the ceremony. In case of inclement weather, there will be a secondary option for our ceremony that is covered, but still outdoors.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

We have set up a room block at the Penn Stroud Hotel for either just Sunday or both Saturday and Sunday booking. Please see the accommodations tab for information on how to book. Alternatively we also included other hotel options in the area for you to review!

Do you have transportation planned for to and from the hotel?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to budget constraints we are not providing transportation. Please utilize driving services if you plan on taking advantage of the open bar!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive a half hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

How do I find the venue when I arrive?

Answer

Continue straight after turning into the Stroudsmoor Inn. At the end of the road make a left. Follow that until you see the sign for The Woodsgate on your right. Additionally, you can visit the Stroudsmoor Country Inn website for more details.

Where can I park?

Answer

There will be ample free parking available in front of our venue at the Woodsgate!

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

We will have hors d'oeuvres during our cocktail hour followed by a plated dinner reception. Please select your meal option when you RSVP. If you have any special accommodations, please let us know and we will do our best to make sure they are accommodated.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony. We politely ask to please keep your phones away and let our wonderful photographer capture our special moment. After that, we encourage you to take and post pictures throughout the rest of the night! Please use our hashtag #NewlyNugent so we can easily access all your photos.
