Let me set the stage for you. Its July 7th, Demi's birthday. Demi and her best friend Savannah were looking for a way to celebrate. Savannah decides to get into contact with her boyfriends friends to throw a party at their house. After spending the morning lounging by the lake, they went to the Porter residence to continue the night of fun. That is where Demi became "mesmerized" by the handsome guy playing guitar in the living room. Derek and Demi hit it off immediately, one may say it was love at first sight. After a long night of talking, singing, beer pong, and jeep rides.. the rest was history!
