Due to the unforeseen circumstances surrounding COVID-19, we had to make the difficult decision to postpone our wedding. This was an INCREDIBLY difficult decision to make, but the health and safety of our loved ones is always the most important thing. We want to celebrate with our nearest and dearest to the fullest extent! The wait will make it all the more worth it. We want to thank everyone for your love, support, and patience through this crazy planning process. We love you all and can't wait for you to help us transition into our next phase in life. Can't wait to see you there! Let's eat, drink, and be married!

She was looking for a partner in travel and adventure. He was looking for his forever. They crossed paths in the most unexpected of places, online. After a week or two of profile glances, he decided to reach out to her. They met at a quaint restaurant and bonded on a conversation of ghost encounters. Caping the night at a jazz club over drinks, she knew she wanted to see him again. This discovery was surprising to her since she was ready to quit the site after a string of dull dates. She knew there was something there and unknowing to her, the feeling was mutual. They had no idea that they would change each others lives for the better. Six years together hasn't always been easy but in that time they learned that choosing each other everyday would be the best decision in their lives.

For our five year anniversary, Chris surprised me with a trip to Hawaii! On our last night, we took a star gazing tour to the top of Mauna Kea, the tallest peak in all of Hawaii. During our slow and terrifying assent to the top, our tour bus broke down. For a moment we thought that our evening had ended, but luckily our quick thinking tour guide got us moving again. Once atop the dormant volcano, we had a chance to admire the Hawaiian sunset at 14,000 ft! For a moment I turned away to photograph the observatory only to turn back to my boyfriend getting down on one knee. With tears in his eyes and an emotional voice, he asked me to be his forever. And in true Sam fashion I said, "Uh yeah!!"
