Classic Harbor Line offers a variety of boat tours around New York. This is one of our favorite things to do during the warm weather months. To see views of the Statue of Liberty, we recommend sailing on the Schooner Adirondack or Schooner American 2.0. If you're interested in a more enclosed boat, we recommend the jazz cruise on the Yacht Manhattan or Manhattan II. Most cruises leave from Chelsea Piers and offer complimentary drinks.
Nothing says New York in the summer like going to a Yankees Game! Visit the website for tickets and scheduling. The stadium is easy to get to by subway. See here for transportation information: https://www.mlb.com/yankees/ballpark/information/mass-transit-info
Looking for a quick trip outside the city? Long Beach is a great way to spend a hot summers day. It also happens to be the place where “we knew we had found the one.” Take the Long Island Rail Road from Penn Station to Long Beach, it will be about an hour trip one-way. There are a couple spots for an All American bite on the boardwalk. Be sure to bring some cash to access the beach.
We loved walking around SoHo, NoHo, and the West Village during the weekends. For the best shops and restaurants, this is the go-to spot. Looking for a bit of nature? Nowhere is more iconic than Central Park. Love the water? Check out Battery Park City & TriBeCa. You'll spot lots of runners, buzzing restaurants, and you'll be steps away from the Freedom Tower.
Its not for everyone when they're on vacation, but fitness is something we’ve had in common from the very beginning! If you’re looking to get a sweat in during your time in NYC, our favorites are SoulCycle for spinning, Rumble for boxing, and Y7 for yoga. High intensity, bumping beats, and lots of fun.
For the art buffs, you'll be able to experience a variety of different museums during your stay in NYC. Here are some of our favorites: The Whitney and MoMa for modern art. The Met is the most iconic and has art ranging from Renaissance to Egyptian. The Frick Collection and Neue Galerie have smaller, more boutique collections set in New York style townhomes.
