Things To Do

Grand Banks

Grand Banks

Pier 25 Hudson River Park, New York, NY 10013

Grand Banks is a lovely boat situated on the Hudson River. They offer refreshing cocktails, delicious seafood, views of the Freedom Tower, and happens to be where we had our first date! We recommend making a reservation beforehand.

Goodnight Sonny

Goodnight Sonny

134 1st Avenue, New York, NY 10009
, (646) 692-3254

Goodnight Sonny is a very special place to us. It's where we first met & got engaged! Goodnight Sonny is a hip and relaxed bar in the East Village of Manhattan.

Classic Harbor Line

Classic Harbor Line

62 Chelsea Piers, Pier 62, New York, NY 10011
, (212) 627-1825

Classic Harbor Line offers a variety of boat tours around New York. This is one of our favorite things to do during the warm weather months. To see views of the Statue of Liberty, we recommend sailing on the Schooner Adirondack or Schooner American 2.0. If you're interested in a more enclosed boat, we recommend the jazz cruise on the Yacht Manhattan or Manhattan II. Most cruises leave from Chelsea Piers and offer complimentary drinks.

The Campbell Bar

The Campbell Bar

15 Vanderbilt Ave, New York, NY 10017

Classic cocktails & light fare in the ornate Grand Central offices of a 1920's mogul. Right around the block from our wedding hotel.

Yankees Baseball Game

Yankees Baseball Game

Nothing says New York in the summer like going to a Yankees Game! Visit the website for tickets and scheduling. The stadium is easy to get to by subway. See here for transportation information: https://www.mlb.com/yankees/ballpark/information/mass-transit-info

Long Beach

Long Beach

Neptune Boulevard, Long Beach, NY 11561

Looking for a quick trip outside the city? Long Beach is a great way to spend a hot summers day. It also happens to be the place where “we knew we had found the one.” Take the Long Island Rail Road from Penn Station to Long Beach, it will be about an hour trip one-way. There are a couple spots for an All American bite on the boardwalk. Be sure to bring some cash to access the beach.

Comedy Cellar

Comedy Cellar

, (212) 254-3480

Looking for a laugh? Check out Comedy Cellar. If you're lucky a celebrity will be on the line up. Be sure to book tickets in advance.

The Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club

The Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club

Royal Palms is a fun spot to play shuffleboard and grab a drink with a group! Pig Beach BBQ and Ample Hills Ice Cream is around the block for a bite.

Neighborhoods we Love!

Neighborhoods we Love!

We loved walking around SoHo, NoHo, and the West Village during the weekends. For the best shops and restaurants, this is the go-to spot. Looking for a bit of nature? Nowhere is more iconic than Central Park. Love the water? Check out Battery Park City & TriBeCa. You'll spot lots of runners, buzzing restaurants, and you'll be steps away from the Freedom Tower.

Workouts we Love!

Workouts we Love!

Its not for everyone when they're on vacation, but fitness is something we’ve had in common from the very beginning! If you’re looking to get a sweat in during your time in NYC, our favorites are SoulCycle for spinning, Rumble for boxing, and Y7 for yoga. High intensity, bumping beats, and lots of fun.

Museums we Love!

Museums we Love!

For the art buffs, you'll be able to experience a variety of different museums during your stay in NYC. Here are some of our favorites: The Whitney and MoMa for modern art. The Met is the most iconic and has art ranging from Renaissance to Egyptian. The Frick Collection and Neue Galerie have smaller, more boutique collections set in New York style townhomes.
