Deep Ellum
Deep Ellum is a great area to walk around and explore. There are so many great places to eat, drink, and hear live music. Our favorites in this area: Cane Rosso, Dot's Hop House, Anvil Pub, The Green Room, Adair's Saloon, Biscuit Bar, Ebb & Flow, Angry Dog, Pecan Lodge. You really can't go wrong!
Uptown
Uptown is home to so many great bars and restaurants and is known for its great patios! There is a free trolley that will take you around uptown, all the way to Klyde Warren Park and downtown Dallas. Some of our favorite spots: State and Allen, Bread Winners, Mi Cocina, The Rustic, Standard Pour, Katy Trail Ice House, and Sixty Vines
Katy Trail
One of the best outdoor patios in Dallas right off the Katy Trail! We recommend taking a walk on the trail and then rewarding yourself with a nice Texas sized beer and a burger (one of the best!). Try a summer beer or a Beer-Rita while you're there!
The Rustic
A backyard style restaurant/bar known for it's home style food, local craft beers, and live music. It's the perfect taste of Texas and one of our favorite spots on a nice day.
The Porch
A great lunch spot with a good patio and known for creative cocktails. We recommend the pimento cheese board, the grilled cheese + tomato soup, and the burger.
The Old Monk
Homey pub with the perfect patio + excellent food. Also, Mary's favorite cheese board in town!
Meso Maya
Tex-mex is a must while you're in town and this is one of our favorites! Right in the heart of downtown, a great vibe, and the best margaritas. Be sure to get a bowl of queso, or two.
Mi Cocina
A Dallas staple, Traditional Tex-Mex restaurant. Get the queso and try a Mambo Taxi! Austin's favorites: Ernie's Chicken and Double Barrel Margarita Mary's favorites: Beef tacos, brisket Enchiladas
Sixty Vines
Cute restaurant inspired by California wine country. Great wine on tap and American food and the cutest Greenhouse patio!
Happiest Hour
A go-to spot for drinks and a view. There's a large patio with games downstairs, and a deck with a city view upstairs.
Cane Rosso
The very best. Neapolitan style pizzas cooked in wood fired ovens. We recommend the fried nuggz and the honey bastard pizza.
Dot's Hop House
One of the best spots in Deep Ellum. A large, outdoor, courtyard style bar with 99 craft beer taps. The food is also great!
Pecan Lodge
Award winning BBQ. There's a daily line that wraps outside the building, it's that good! Skip the line with 5+ people by going to the counter and telling them you want "The Through."
Truck Yard
A backyard style bar/beer garden with food trucks, live music, and lots of yard art. They also have a surprisingly good Philly Cheesesteak.
HG Sply Co.
One of the best rooftop bars! They have great Froze, frozen moscow mules, and great views!
Green Room
A casual bar with a great rooftop overlooking Deep Ellum.
Klyde Warren Park
A fun outdoor park right in the heart of downtown Dallas. It's a great spot to walk around and enjoy the view of the city. There are always a variety of food trucks and other activities on the weekends.
M-Line Trolley
A free trolley service with 42 stops in Uptown/Downtown Dallas. It's a great way to get around town and see the different areas. You can find the full map/pick-up spots on their website.
Reunion Tower
Located right by our venue, the Reunion Tower offers 360-degree panoramic of Dallas from 561 feet up!
Sixth Floor Museum
A museum dedicated to the assassination and Legacy of President Kennedy.
