We met the 21st Century way - the internet! Our similar interests are what first drew us to one another, but it was how similar our personalities are that made it impossible to stay away. When thinking back on our love story, music, concerts, and festivals are at the forefront of it. Our first concert together, Porter Robinson and Madeon's Shelter tour, is what sealed the deal for our budding relationship. (And yes, this is the namesake for our dog Porter!). It was that fateful night that we realized this had the potential to be something special. At the time, neither of us was looking for a serious relationship. It quickly became apparent that the universe had other plans. Conversations were easy and never dull. We would frequently stay up until 2 or 3 in the morning, unable to stop telling each other stories or sharing our favorite songs. After 8 years together, the love we have for each other and our lives has only grown. We rescued Porter, moved 2000 miles across the country to Oregon, bought a home, and landed dream jobs. We’ve traveled the world, have been to more concerts and festivals than we can count, and have met so many wonderful people, some of whom became like family. We are so excited that our big day is approaching, but we are even more excited to celebrate with all of our favorite people. We can’t wait to see you soon!
