Restaurants We Love

Peche: Our favorite! Seafood grill with a vibrant atmosphere, delicious shared plates, and whole-fish entrees. Peanut Butter pie, yes please.
Restaurant August (Warehouse district): Upscale contemporary creole.
Saba: Another "must visit" when we're in NOLA. James Beard award winning chef (x5). Israeli-inspired food with a twist, like lamb shank with whipped Feta and crab hummus.
Paladar 511 - Neighborhood establishment in a very New Orleans-y part of town, the Bywater. Freshly made pasta, seafood, and pizza.
Brunch/Lunch:
- Willa Jean: Sam's favorite casual brunch spot with the girls. They have healthy dishes and pancakes, fresh baked goods and yummy coffee drinks.
- Willie Mae's Scotch House: Austin's favorite lunch spot. Off the beaten path, casual, best fried-chicken you will ever find.
-Brennan's or Commander's Palace: Classic southern Jazz brunch experience. A post-brunch nap is strongly encouraged after 25-cent-martini Fridays.
