Occupation: student The brother of the bride, Jonathan was born and raised in Los Angeles. He moved to Nashville with his family in 2014, and is currently studying German and Biology at Lipscomb University. Jonathan and Nathan met at church in July of 2018, and from then on, their friendship has blossomed tremendously.
Caleb Shore
Groomsman
Occupation: actor Caleb is two-and-a-half years older than Nathan, but he will have been married for four years by the time Nathan and Rebekah’s wedding day arrives. Caleb studied Broadcast Journalism at Union University, and is currently living in Nashville with his wife and two cats.
Kim Shrum
Groomsman
Occupation: music producer Kim Shrum was Nathan’s very first guitar teacher in 2006. Thirteen years later, they together write music, record music, and play music on a regular basis. Kim produced Nathan’s first EP in 2013, and has mentored him through these many years.
Ryan Jordan
Groomsman
Occupation: landscape manager Ryan and Nathan met around the age of five. Through the many years of playing guitar, random backyard sports, and late-night ping pong games, they quickly became best friends. They now both work at Green Pastures Landscape Co, where Ryan is a manager and Nathan is a Spray Technician.
Galen Crew
Groomsman
Occupation: musician Galen and Nathan met in 2014 at their Church’s Small Group. Galen later produced Nathan’s debut album, and has songs streaming in the tens-of-millions in China. He has produced the music of many local and non-local artists, and currently lives in Nashville.
Hunter Stewart
Groomsman
Occupation: missionary There are some people that you connect so easily with right off the bat... that’s what happened with Hunter and Nathan. They went to Israel together in 2015, and Hunter now works for that same missions organization. He has taken many overseas trips since 2015.
Andres Ramirez
Groomsman
Occupation: student Andres and Nathan met in 2015 during a missions training school in TN. When the short 2-month school was over, their friendship continued strong, though they live states apart. Nathan’s wedding will be the first time he and Andres have seen each other in 2 years.
Miller Jarrell
Groomsman
Occupation: barista Miller and Nathan began making music together after they met through a group of mutual friends. Though music was the initial heartbeat of the friendship, “fellow musicians” quickly turned into close friends, and Nathan’s now getting married a year after Miller did.
Kaniel Geeslin

The eldest sister of the bride, Kaniel has been Rebekah’s confidant, cheerleader, sidekick, and loyal friend since day one! Kaniel and Rebekah did literally everything together until their college days, and even then, Rebekah may have followed her to Virginia for school...Kaniel is one of the truest friends the world has known. She defends the weak, is generous beyond belief, cooks food like a gourmet to warm the hearts of those she loves, and has a gift for storytelling and drawing that she uses to bless children and adults alike. She never ceases to find the fun in life and accomplishes what she sets out to do! She inspires Rebekah by her follow-through, optimism, delight in simplicity, and contentment. Their’s no friend like a big sister!
Grace Geeslin

The youngest sister of the bride, Grace has ever been precocious, passionate, and quick witted. Rebekah and Grace shared a bedroom for years and enjoyed having “sleepover” movie nights in bed and heart-to-hearts late at night. Grace is a fashionista with an eye for the artistic and a gift for theater! She loves to give hugs and has challenged her sister to recognize that to demonstrate and receive love through touch is both healing and essential. She inspires Rebekah with her go-getter disposition, her love of people, her confidence, her boldness to defend truth, and her abandonment in worship. Although Grace always assumed Kaniel would be Rebekah’s Maid of Honor, Grace is not just a sister; she is a beloved friend, dearly cherished and irreplaceable.

More like a sister than a cousin, Kim shared a room with Rebekah and Kaniel for a year and a half and was given away at her own wedding by Rebekah’s dad, Mark. Kim excels at whatever she sets her hand to, and she sets her hand to many wonderful tasks! She thrives as a beautiful mother, a brilliant academic, and a creative, always engineering new crafts, recipes, and life hacks. Not to mention, she is an encyclopedia of facts! Rebekah is inspired by her passion for life, her willingness to try new things, her determination in the face of difficulty, and her independent mind that seeks truth and solutions.
Nicolette Murray

Affectionately known as “Cinco,” Nikki lived with the Geeslins for a couple months and is counted as one of the family. First introduced at a church life group, Rebekah and Nikki have been friends for over four and a half years. From road tripping across the US, sunbathing in Florida, and hiking to waterfalls, to praying for our future husbands (God answers!), discussing C.S. Lewis, and sipping hot tea by the fire, Nikki and Rebekah share countless interests and memories. Rebekah is inspired by Nikki’s commitment to truth, passion for the hurting, desire to share the gospel, and love for travel.

A cousin to the bride, Lauren has been a friend and sister for a lifetime! Rebekah, Lauren, and Kaniel grew up making mischief together and spent countless hours trading toys, painting nails, playing monopoly, chilling on the beach, and loving on each other. Now living over 2000 miles apart, Rebekah and Lauren maintain a deep bond and a rare security and openness in their friendship. Rebekah is inspired by Lauren’s transparency, faithfulness, work ethic, and unshakable determination.

One of Rebekah’s closest friends, Briana has known the bride for the past four years. Both Briana and Rebekah tested as the scarce ENTJ personality type and, given that they both teach high school, love adventure, thrive on competition, and are total extroverts, have decided that they are really long lost twins! Briana is truly one of the most faithful women alive, loyal in friendship and diligently focused on whatever is set before her. Rebekah is inspired by her tenacity, faith, humble spirit, and endless energy and passion!

This gem of a woman exemplifies how God’s plans are often beyond our understanding. Although Kaitlin was disappointed when her college dance career took a pause, the Lord knew Rebekah needed her in Nashville because a beautiful friendship was about to bloom! Through game nights, bible studies, long hikes, “galenthai” dinners, and, yes, even hair bleaching sessions until 5am, Kaitlin and Rebekah have become fast friends. Rebekah is inspired by her creativity, pursuit of truth, and passion. Kaitlin feels deeply and understands the human soul. She communicates the heart of God through painting, music, and, especially, dance.

Fellow teachers and bookworm academics, Caitlin and Rebekah have bonded over accidental encounters at Barnes and Noble, long drives to serve at Youth Camp, summer days on the lake, and a shared passion to reach and teach the young. While Caitlin is unassuming and may appear a delicate soul, be not deceived! This woman is a warrior, fighting for the lives of our children in the toughest and darkest trenches of Nashville! She walks in supernatural grace, strength, and wisdom, and has inspired Rebekah by her example as a fearless and selfless teacher, her patience and joy, her faithful walk as a daughter of the King, and her servant heart.

Sister to the groom, Isabel is the reason Rebekah and Nathan met! Rebekah first saw Nathan while tutoring Isabel and the two became officially acquainted while Rebekah spent a weekend with his sisters. Since the first days of tutoring, Rebekah and Isabel have spent hours laughing together, quoting movies, and bonding at youth camp. Rebekah counts Isabel among her cherished friends and is absolutely delighted to call her sister! Isabel inspires Rebekah to “keep moving forward” in the face of challenges, to delight in life, to dance when you feel like it, no matter who’s watching, and to live entirely for the glory of King Jesus!

The youngest sister of the groom, Acacia stole Rebekah’s heart from day one! Acacia is full of life and light and spreads laughter and joy with her wit and sweetness. Acacia is always up for a fun time, and she’s so very brave, even when playing a game of murder in a dark room with a bunch of high schoolers! Rebekah is inspired by her perfect mixture of gentleness and spunk, her firm trust and delight in the Lord’s plan for her life, her warmth of friendship and free dispensation of love and affection, and, let’s not forget, her drive to make the world’s best slime! Rebekah loves her dearly and is beyond blessed to call her sister!
