Where is the ceremony?

The ceremony is located at the Africa Event Center at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.

Where is the reception?

Answer

The reception is also located at the Africa Event Center and will start immediately following the ceremony.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 20 minutes before the ceremony time.

Is there parking available near the ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

Yes, there is private parking available at the ceremony and reception venue. Every guest will receive a free parking pass with their invitation.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the service?

Answer

There are no shuttles to and from the hotels to the service, but we recommend using Uber!

Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors on the deck of the Africa Event Center overlooking the savannah of the Heart of Africa Region at the Columbus Zoo. The reception will be held indoors.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

In order to invite as many loved ones as possible, plus ones are limited. We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation, or listed in your online RSVP form.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is gift enough. Seriously. But because you asked we are registered at Zola Registry. Please visit our registry page for all the details.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We'd love to know if you can make it (we hope you can!) Please RSVP by August 1, 2019 using the RSVP card that will be sent with formal invitation or via our RSVP page on this website.

Will I need to pay to get into the zoo?

Answer

Of course not! Our venue is removed from the public and is equipped with privacy gates and a personal parking lot for Africa Event Center weddings.
