And the Story Goes...

08.01.2016

They met on opposite sides of a volleyball court. Ernesto, with his charming type-A energy, always ready to win no matter what. Teddy, quiet but fierce, with a “don’t mess with me” attitude. Naturally, they became rivals. Every serve, every spike, every glance across the net was charged with competitive fire. But fate had other plans. One fateful night in the Castro, something shifted. Ernesto saw something in Teddy — something magnetic, something real. The rivalry melted into curiosity, and soon, into connection. They started dating, casually at first, testing the waters. But it didn’t take long for the spark to grow into something deeper. From there, the adventure unfolded. They traveled together, explored new places, and discovered new layers of each other. There were moments of pure joy, belly laughs, and spontaneous detours. But it wasn’t always easy. They faced hurdles — the kind that test love and build resilience. And through it all, they chose each other. In March 2020, Ernesto proposed. It was perfect — intimate, meaningful, and full of promise. What they didn’t know was that just days later, the world would stop still. A global pandemic paused everything. But not their love. Through lockdowns, uncertainty, and every COVID strain, they grew stronger, closer, more certain. As they waited for the right time to marry, something magical happened: Mayari was born. Their daughter changed everything. She brought new light, new purpose, and a love they never knew was possible. In 2024, they bought their first home — a place to grow, to dream, to build a life together. And now, as Mayari grows older, they know: this is the time. After nearly a decade of love, laughter, and unforgettable adventures, Ernesto and Teddy are ready to make it official. To profess their love in front of friends, family, and most importantly — in front of Mayari, and to each other.
