Clear Creek county offers a ton of fun activities for all ages and abilities! Some of the highlights include: The Georgetown Loop train ride through the mountains, a local mine tour, Indian Hot Springs, hiking, fishing, white water rafting, disc golf, paddle boarding/kayaking, golfing, and plenty of shopping and local breweries! There is also a free shuttle through Georgetown to Idaho Springs and a few other towns in the area. The shuttle does not run on Sundays. Idaho Springs is about 20 minutes away and offers quite a bit to do including a waterfall hike, white water rafting and hot springs. The Unsinkable Molly Brown was from Denver. Her house is now a museum with lots of Titanic relics. The Museum is right downtown across from our Colorado State Capitol and Civic Center Park (where Jen goes to protest lol).

Mile High Comics - Jason Street Mega Store

Mile High Comics is the largest comic book store in the USA. Literally a warehouse with tons of comics and fun collectables (and a Pueblo potter museum upstairs that you can ask the owner to see-it's his private collection). Also, a sweet kitty lives inside who likes to give kitty kisses.

Coors Brewery Tour

This tour is open Thursday to Monday in Golden. $20 for a 90 minute tour. They used to have beer at the end as a reward. :0)

Rocky Mountain National Park

Estes Park, CO

Rocky Mountain National Park is very busy during the summer. You might have to call ahead to get a reservation and you should try to go early or late afternoon. Bring lots of water as it is high altitude. Located about an hour and a half from Jen and Tyler's house in Westminster. About an hour and a half to two hours from Georgetown.
