Georgetown Loop Train and Mine Tour

For family and out of state friends who come into town early, we thought it would be fun to possibly take the Georgetown Loop Mountain Railroad and Mine Tour together as a welcome! Anyone who would like to go can attend. You can buy tickets on the Georgetown Loop Railroad website. We are looking at the 10:00 am time slot.
Rehearsal Dinner

We will be outside by the lake at picnic tables. It gets quite windy there and will be chilly once the sun sets. You might want to bring extra layers, a hair tie and sun protection.
We will be paying for wedding party and immediate family dinners and a beer, but everyone who is up for the weekend is welcome to join us at the rehearsal dinner and visit or eat/drink at their own expense. The brewery is informal and hockey themed with typical bar appetizers, burgers, pizza and grilled cheese sandwiches. There are also some vegetarian and gluten free options. Prices tend to be $15-$20 for a meal. The brewery is about 150 feet from the Microtel Inn, so you can just walk over.

Wedding Ceremony

Casual to Nice Attire: Sundresses and sandals, suits, to jeans and nice shirts.
Our wedding and reception will be outdoors at 8,000 ft altitude. Please wear sunscreen, drink water, and bring layers as it will get cold when the sun goes down. There will be an open bar from 4:00 until 8:00. Remember that if you are not used to high altitude, alcohol has a bigger impact. Dinner will be a BBQ Buffet. Please let us know any food restrictions or requests. There will be vegan and gluten free options available per request. The venue requests that all parties be indoors by 8:30 pm due to noise ordinance, but we can continue to visit and celebrate inside for as long as we would like.

The reception has to move inside by 8:30 pm due to noise ordinances. A cash bar will be offered from 8:00-10:00 inside Clear Creek Inn and we will continue celebrating with anyone who would like to stay and continue to celebrate inside. You do not need to RSVP-just stay longer if you are having a good time!

Paddleboarding on Lake George

We plan to paddleboard on Lake George Sunday afternoon and all are welcome! There is a paddleboard rental place in town if you do not have a board (you can also rent a kayak or canoe if you don't want to paddleboard). You don't have to get on the lake to attend. The lake is right by the hotel and Cabin Creek Brewery if you would rather hang out on their patio, have some beverages, and watch the paddleboarding. :0) Just a fun day in the sun and mountains!
