Garden Party Formal. Suits for men and mid or floor length dresses for women. Fun colors encouraged! But feel free to wear whatever formal attire you feel most comfortable in. For those wearing heels, the ceremony will be on grass, so block heels may be optimal.
Shuttles will leave from the Warwick Hotel at 3:30PM. Once the ceremony & reception is over, the shuttles will pick up from Curtis Arboretum at 10:15PM and drop off directly at the after party at the Franklin Hotel. For those who are staying in Rittenhouse but do not plan to attend the after party, this dropoff location is still very central to any Rittenhouse hotel (<2 min walk from the Warwick).
Yes! If you'd like to drive, there is plenty of parking in a lot at Curtis Arboretum. Shuttles will also be provided from the venue to/from hotels in Center City Philadelphia, leaving at 3:45PM from the Warwick Hotel. We will update our website with shuttle times closer to the date.
While we don't have special room blocks, there are several suggestions for hotels in the suburbs on our "Travel" page! Try Chestnut Hill Hotel, Homewood Suites Willow Grove, and the Holiday Inn Horsham.
We love your little ones but we kindly ask for you to enjoy an evening out with adults only :)
If the weather cooperates we will be outside on the lawn for the ceremony and on the patio for cocktail hour. We will have parasols and paper fans for the heat, but it should be cooler towards the evening. Dinner and dancing will be in the tent and ballroom. If it rains, we will move everything indoors!
