Things To Do
Our venue is a historic Hollywood icon. Built in the early 1970s by actress Beverly Garland and her husband Filmore Crank, the hotel was a hang out of many celebrities like Dolly Parton and Wayne Newton. Several films feature the property, such as Steven Spielberg's first film Duel, Barbra Streisand's The Guilt Trip, and many more. A myriad of TV shows were also shot at The Garland, like Parks and Recreation and Knight Rider, which features the hotel in no less than 5 episodes including several scenes with the iconic Firebird. The sprawling seven acre property has no shortage of activities. From the fabulous pool, beautiful lobby bar, a courtyard filled with outdoor games, and gorgeous green spaces, we encourage all our guests to enjoy all the hotel has to offer and take in the Hollywood history and vibe. For those seeking to adventure further, we have listed our highlights below.
