November of 2020, the world was still wrapped up in its COVID-19 slumber, a pause for unprecedented times. But, a world class romance was brewing in no other place than Twitter DM's. Josh had tweeted about just wishing he had someone who would go to Korean Barbecue with him, and Kate, who's quarantine hobby had become replying to anything and everything on the internet, responded. One thing led to another, and Josh ended up in Kate's inbox, planning the first KBBQ outing back since the world shut down. Through the smoke filled haze of sizzling beef and pork belly, the two related over their love of video games, music, and causing general chaos. Kate knew Josh was the one when shortly after they finished dinner, he looked at her and said "I used to be the resident DJ at Maya...do you want to go drink for free?" Josh's moment of knowing came later that night, when Kate brought him home...and promptly began to show off her Red Dead Redemption 2 skills on her Playstation 4. Since then, it's been a whirlwind of touring the country, numerous festivals, late nights playing Fortnite, and of course- more Korean BBQ than two people should be allowed to eat.
