FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We are hoping to have RSVPs by the end of August!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving about 15 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow plenty of time for getting settled and finding your seat.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely :) We are excited to share our big day with all of the special people in our lives, including the youngsters! We will have some lawn games and coloring supplies to help them have fun, and we hope to see them on the dance floor!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is Semi-Formal. For those who enjoy dressing up, a suit or long dress would be perfect. If you'd prefer something a bit more relaxed, a tie and jacket or cocktail dress would be perfect. We want everyone to feel their best! One thing to note is that the ceremony will be outside in the grass, so you may want to leave the stiletto heels at home. Additionally, while October is usually nice and warm in San Francisco, we will be on the ocean so we would advise that you bring a light jacket in case the sea breeze kicks up!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have not reserved a room block at a hotel, as there are so many options around San Francisco! Most hotels in the city are located in the Financial District (FiDi) or the Marina neighborhood. FiDi is easily accessible by public transit and a great central hub for exploring. The Marina is a cutesy neighborhood that will be close to our wedding venue!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a free parking lot immediately next to the venue which will be held for our private use all evening. You are welcome to drive and park there! Lyft, Uber, Waymo, and taxis will all be accessible as well.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! We have a question in the RSVP form that allows you to share any dietary restrictions you may have. One thing to note is that Josh and I are both vegan, and we do not plan to serve meat at the wedding! If that will be an issue for anyone in your family, please feel free to reach out.
