What should I wear?

For the wedding day, we'd love for you to embrace all the Valentine's Day goodness with us by wearing something red or pink that makes you feel good. This event is semi-formal - think fancy date night! If you're attending Welcome Cocktails the night before the wedding, think "spiffy not stuffy" - there will be photos and first impressions made, but this is a laid-back cocktail event. We know many of you will be joining us after a long travel day - feel free to leave the heels at home!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please do, if you'd like! Bring a plus one (one only, please!) who you love romantically or platonically - or, heck, take your mom on vacation! We're excited to meet whoever it is, but please leave any kiddos at home. And don't bring a jerk. If you do bring a plus one sure to include your date's name on your RSVP so we can make them feel as included as possible. And if a date is just going to slow you down, come solo! We're excited to introduce you to all of our people and make them your people, too! For those invitations where a couple is both addressed, we kindly ask that you don't try to find an alternative date if one of you is unable to attend. Thanks!

Is there transportation to and from my hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

All wedding weekend events will be held at the Madonna Inn. If you're staying off-site, please make plans for your own transportation. Our recommendations are on the "Hotels/Transportation" tab on this here website.

Question

Didn't you already get married? What the heck are we doing here?

Answer

Yes, ok, we are technically already married - we went to Paris, TX in February of this year and got married under their giant Eiffel Tower replica wearing a red cowboy hat because we love each other and also medical insurance. BUT we didn't get to celebrate with all of YOU and there's something special to us about being witnessed as married people in the eyes of our community. Our wedding is our very good excuse to invite/make all of our beloved people go on an adventure or take a romantic Valentine's vacation with their person, to smush all of our beautiful friends into one room, and to celebrate all the familial/romantic/platonic love we can muster into one shared space. It's going to be just as special and lovely to us as our "cowboy wedding," so come have fun with us! (and, come on, what former theatre major among us doesn't love an excuse to have a giant theme party???)
