CELEBRATE THE NELSONS

We initially met at a mutual friend's birthday party while in college at the University of Minnesota. A month and a half later, we ran into each other again and went on our first date the following week. The rest is history!

On a summer night, Connor planned a surprise date. Julia wasn't provided details on where they were going or what they were going to do, but Connor helped her select an outfit and said there was a cool spot he had found on Reddit prior that we should check out before the date. When we arrived at the spot (Boom Island Park) we walked down to a site that overlooked the city. Julia’s mom, aunt, and younger brother Max, had made a beautiful set-up with candles, flowers, blankets, pillows, and champagne. Connor got down on one knee and Julia said, YES!! He had a photographer there to capture the moment. Following the engagement, he had set up another surprise - a gathering at Pryes Brewing together with many of our close family and friends to celebrate. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you up north!
