Is this a Adults only event?

Answer

Children are welcome to attend our wedding. If your child becomes upset during the ceremony, we kindly ask that you step outside until the ceremony concludes. Thank you for your understanding.

Are there any nearby accommodations?

Answer

For those traveling from out of town, we greatly appreciate you making the trip! We kindly ask you to check out hotel or Airbnb options in the area. Check out our Hotel and Reservation Tab on this site for a recommended hotel option. If you have time, the city of Chicago is only an hour away, so feel free to take advantage of visiting the Windy City!

Will there be transportation provided to and from the venue?

Answer

There will not be transportation to and from the venue. You may drive yourself or use services like Uber and Lyft. Parking will be available at the venue, and staff will have a golf cart to assist those with physical needs. If you need to leave your car overnight the venue allows that but your car must be picked up by 10AM the next day.

why is the wedding not in Ohio?

Answer

Sami and most of her family are originally from Illinois, where she was born. Since the majority of her family, including her grandparents, still live there, it made logistical sense to host the wedding in Illinois. We are incredibly grateful to everyone traveling from across the United States to join us on our special day. Your efforts mean the world to us!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from using your cellphone to take pictures during the ceremony. After waiting 10 years for this moment, we want everyone to be fully present. We have hired a professional photographer to capture the day, and we will share the photos with you as soon as we can. Thank you for your understanding!
