Ice cream, sandwiches, and gifts
Short and beautiful walk - be aware of the tides since the sand path between islands drops below sea level closer to high tide.
A very cute downtown, similar to Asheville, with restaurants, shopping, and art galleries. Stop for a bite and a stroll by the water on your way to or from Islesboro.
This is a great place to stop for beer and wine before coming on to the island as their selection is far superior! The island stores pretty much have all the liquor you would want.
We highly recommend visiting this national park if you have never been. You could make it up and back to Islesboro in a day or stay overnight. If you want advice on specific hikes please get in touch with us directly.
