Alicia, Ali, Smal, Smali, the ying to my yang, the salt to my pepper, the Meredith to my Christina, my soul sister. Ali and I met before college, and once at college, we were inseparable. We have been through so many ups and downs together, and I couldn't imagine life without you. Ali is the type of friend that I hope everyone in life gets to have. She is someone who always has your back, who will go along with crazy ideas, is down for a fun time, and supports you no matter what. She is what I like to call a true friend... and my person! So thankful for her!
Brandon Block
Best Man
Brandon a.k.a. “The Lineman of The County”, and my friendship started when a mutual friend introduced us at the Moonlight Bar in Mitchell, SD. Shortly afterwards he had offered a room for rent at his house where we had a plethora of laughs, memories, from the Moose Lodge, softball, days of yard games, the great basement flood of 2017, and many more. Little did I know that meeting Brandon would become the reason that I would be writing this in the first place. Brandon is Jenna’s cousin. It just goes to show that it is truly a small world. Brandon is always the life of the party, and has a laugh that is extremely contagious. Without Brandon none of this would be possible, and I’m forever grateful for his friendship.

The strongest women I know... The sister I always dreamed of and finally got when she married my brother. Jamie has always been there for me through all the growing pains. She has been a shoulder to cry on, a listening ear, and a secret keeper. Jamie has taught me so many life lessons, and I couldn't imagine this day without her standing by my side!

Josh is Jenna’s oldest brother, a second father for her, and the man we have chosen to marry us on our special day. Josh has a strong faith in God, and shows it through his day to day life. We are so thankful for Josh and his wife Jamie’s guidance, wisdom, and laughs through the past few years. We are so excited to have you be a part of our day in multiple ways, and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Courtney Lytle

Courtney and I became friends when she was blessed to get a job in Douglas, WY where I was teaching. We quickly became teacher besties, and eventually work wives. She is the type of person who will bring you work supplies to your house when you are quarantined, print your sub plans when your too sick to do it, and also laugh for hours with you at absolutely nothing important. I couldn't imagine my life without Courtney and her friendship, but also Eric and my special day without her and her husband Kale.
Jedd Schlicht

Jedd and I met in the summer of 2010 right before our freshman year of college where we both played soccer at Dakota Wesleyan University where we developed a one-of-a-kind friendship. Jedd is one of those guys who would help anyone who is in need. He is always up for an adventure even though most of the time if it involves hiking or anything that involves physical activity. His patience really shines when I’m gasping for air. I couldn’t imagine Jenna and my special day without him standing by my side.

Ohh hey sister! Mara, I couldn't be happier that my best friend somehow hoaxed you into marrying him. I am so thankful for you and your ability to see the good in all people. You are one of a kind, and someone I can't imagine my life without. Thank you for all you do, and all the council you give! I can't imagine my wedding day without you!
Jerad Anderson

Jerad is Jenna’s other brother, and one of her best friends. When going to meet the family, Jenna had warned me about how protective her two older brothers were. After meeting the family, I immediately felt my nerves go away, and felt welcomed. Over the years, Jerad and I have shared similar experiences with hunting and fishing. To this day, my favorite memory with Jerad has been Christmas 2020 when I opened my present from him, which was a custom deer hang with the name ERIK on it. This deer hang will soon hang in the basement of Jenna and my house. Jerad, we are so thankful to have you be a part of our special day, and we can’t wait for all the memories we will make.

I've known Derek since my 8th grade year of middle school, when he first dated my sister. As time went on he eventually married my sister. I was skeptical at first due to the fact that he's a Green Bay Packer fan. After getting to know him more I realized the football team a man supports does not define him. I realized how great of a guy Derek is, the way he treats my sister and their marriage is one we admire and aspire to have.

Robyn is the reason Eric and I are together. She is the perfect matchmaker! Robyn is the person who is always down for a good time, whether it's getting dressed up and singing our hearts out to The Backstreet Boys, or staying in and hanging out in sweatpants. So happy to have this woman in my corner, and as a cousin.
Tanner Haines

Tanner is my brother. He has been extremely supportive of our relationship from the beginning, and definitely gave me some crap for how long it took me to "pop" the question. Every time we'd come home it was always, "Eric, you better propose... or she may leave you." Jenna always thought these comments were fitting and timely. Tanner and his wife Kayla have a marriage that is fun, full of outdoor adventure, and lots of love. This is something that Jenna and I admire about them. His support through Jenna and my relationship has been truly appreciated by both of us.
Brody Haines

Brody is my nephew. He has been such a joy to both Jenna, and myself. His love of all things from dinosaurs to his chickens is something to behold. He’s a wild-child with a heart of gold. We are both excited to see the life he brings to the party.
