When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP on the website by no later than March 10th, 2025.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony will start at 4:30pm NST (Nelms Standard Time), so please allow yourself time to get to the venue and be seated before 4:30pm.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unless listed on your invitation or cleared with us, we ask that you do not bring anyone extra to the wedding.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids, but we would prefer to keep the ceremony and reception adults only. We understand that things happen and so if there is a reason you need to bring your kiddos, please contact us first before doing so.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dressy casual attire is requested. Please no blue jeans or t-shirts. The weather in May can be unpredictable so please dress comfortably and come ready to dance!

So you're getting married on Star Wars Day, does this mean I can wear my Star Wars costume?

Answer

We'd prefer to keep the wedding Wookie free, but feel free to bring your lightsaber if you have one for pictures!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No transportation will be provided. Uber and Lyft are usually easy to get in the Greensboro area but please try to schedule your ride ahead of time to make sure that a driver is available if you are not planning on driving yourself to the venue. (The hotel is approximately 20 minutes from the venue.)

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Plenty of parking will be available at the venue. The venue is a barn so parking will be in either the gravel parking lot or the field beyond that. Limited handicapped parking is available directly behind the barn. Handicapped parking area is paved and fully wheelchair accessible.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

A hotel block will be set up at the Marriott in Downtown Greensboro. Please see the Travel section of our website for information on how to book. There are also plenty of Airbnb options in Guilford County if you would prefer to go that route for your stay. The Town of Pleasant Garden and the Forest Oaks area are both south of Greensboro and approximately 10-15 minutes away from the venue if you would prefer a shorter drive.
