I met Julia after graduating High School in 1988. We met through another friend at a party in Westmoreland. We have since remained friends throughout all the years. She has always been my girl friend that tells me the truth when I need it. My most loyal and giving friend in my life and so happy to have her share in my Special Day. I don't know what I would have done through the planning if it wasn't for her!

Best Man

My younger brother and also my best man, I am honored to have him in such an important role in my wedding. We've come a long way since growing up in Michigan and he has become a devoted family man with a beautiful family. Looking forward to a special time on the beach with Joe beside me.

My second child, first daughter born October 1995. Was surprised as we were not sure if we would have anymore children after our first. Most call her mini Nelissa. She has many of my traits. She is a delight to be around. Always has been into reading. Loves Lord of the Ring and BTS. Has 2 cats, Percy & Koya. She works and lives in Murfreesboro, TN. She and Jason have same interests in reading material. She and Jason always have much to talk about with their interests. I am excited to have her as my Bridesmaid and celebrating our special day!

My close cousin and friend, we were born four days apart and have stayed in touch through the years. An avid rock fan, we have a lot of musical tastes in common. Professionally, he and I are in similar IT support roles that occupy a great deal of our time, but we have stayed in contact with one another. I am really looking forward to him joining us on our special day.

My youngest child of three and second daughter born April 1997. She has always tried to keep up with her older siblings. She has been involved in soccer since she could kick the ball. My athletic child. She has been one to set goals and reach them. She has a cat named Libby, and a dog, named Pharoah with her boyfriend, Conner. She works and lives in Atlanta. She was the first of my children to meet Jason and she liked him right off. I am excited to have her as my Bridesmaid and celebrating our special day!

Mike Craven

Mike is my stepfather and a very special person in my life. I am proud to have him participate as a groomsman in the wedding. Mike is originally from England and has guided me with his wisdom and wit and has been there to lend a helping hand every step of the way. Fun fact - Mike recently earned his U.S. citizenship in September 2020! It means so much to me to have him alongside me to celebrate this happy time.

Heather is my Niece on my ex husbands side. Heather has always been a charming woman since I have known her. She is a very giving kind person. We don't get to see each other much as she resides in DE. I was delighted to be Matron of Honor in her Wedding in 2011. She is now raising her own family. I am fortunate and delighted to have her to be my bridesmaid and there for my special day.

Met Suzanne while we both were at Paul Mitchell for our Esthetician license in 2009. We went in different directions throughout our career but have remained friends. We have been though much together. Suzanne has become part of our family and been there for my children. She has been there for me though my divorce and supported me through ups and downs. We talked about becoming like the Golden Girls and having each other in the end. I am very happy to have her to stand with me as a bridesmaid on our special day.

Lane Chamberlain

Nelissa's oldest child and only son, Lane agreed to participate as a groomsman and this meant the world to me. Lane is currently a junior at USC and is preparing to return to school in the near future. He is an avid gamer (board, video, online) and this is something we share in common. He lives with his girlfriend Mary, who has played an important role in helping us send invitations and make preparations for the wedding. I had some anxiety meeting him and his sisters for the first time (would they accept me?) but they made me feel most welcome and were very kind to me.

I met Susie at Southeastern in 2010 while taking courses for massage therapy. We kept in touch and worked with each other sometime after. We have become close friends through the years since school and been though one another's ups & downs. I am delighted to have her as one of my bridesmaids to share in my happiness.

Nelissa's brother Melvin and I got along right away when we first met and he has become a close friend. We both share similar musical interests, especially 90's rock. Melvin lives in Tennessee and is pictured with his beautiful dog Maisy. Melvin's son Benjamin is also in the wedding and will participate as a ring bearer. I was extremely pleased when Melvin agreed to stand up with me in the wedding.

Benjamin is my nephew and will be the ring bearer for our wedding. He is the son of my brother, Melvin and sister -in-law Laura. Excited to have him in our wedding.

Marley & Joplin McCord

My nieces' Marley and Joplin McCord. They are 18 months apart like my daughters. I dont get to see them often as I would like because they reside in Tennessee. They are the daughters of my sister, Melinda Johnson and their dad James McCord. I am excited to have them be part of my special day.

My mom is a person we look up to. For her support, kindness and love. She has sacrificed herself for me and my brother & sister. She has taught me to value myself. She has provided me with guidance, motherly love, and has always been there for me. She has flourished after she had grandkids. They love her very much. My mother and a VIP (Very Important Person) in my life. Sue loves golfing, traveling, hiking and enjoying time with friends and family. She loves music and we've shared many special moments enjoying various musical artists together. She taught me the values of hard work, dedication and commitment to family, I love her very much and I am excited for her to join us for this special time in our lives.

My stepdad and also participating in the wedding as a groomsman. Mike is from Yorkshire, England and enjoys Manchester United Football Club and playing golf. He recently became a U.S. citizen, a very proud moment for him and our family!

Mary Pineda

Mary is my son, Lanes girlfriend. She has been very helpful in coordinating and helping me with plan for the wedding. I couldn't do all without her and her ideas. She also is a makeup artist and I maybe will need her help on my day. She has been a wonderful person once I got to know her more.
