Maid of Honor
Jenny - Maid of Honor, Sister/Built in Best Friend I'm lucky enough to have an obvious choice for a Maid of Honor. Not only is Jenny my older sister, but she has been a constant light in my life. I wouldn't be the person I am today without her. Growing up, I admit she was more like a second mother bringing me along as she "babysat" me but that quickly changed as I got older. She's taught me so much and is constantly supporting me through out all of life's decisions. Most of the decisions being to travel to different countries where we gallivant and self proclaimed ourselves on a "sister-moon". She's my person who I tell everything to and always want around me. It is no shock to have her stand next to me for this special day.
Bridesmaid
I've known this lady for 10+ years and while she is married to my brother making her legally my sister, I would choose her to be my family any day. Gina has been an integral part of my adult life and we've gone through so many different chapters together. I think it's safe to say we have a lot more to come! I stood next to her on her big day so it's only right for her to be with me on mine.
Bridesmaid
Having Karla stand by my side is a no brainer. Not only is she one of my persons but she has been by my side through it all. We were lucky enough to grow up together and that foundation has lasted us through all the times we have been far apart from one another. In our adult life we've traveled the world together while experiencing all the ups and downs of getting older. We'll be 80 & 81, belly laughing about something silly happening, I'm sure of it. All of my earliest memories include Karlita Bonita and all my future memories, including this day, will have her right there by my side.
Best Woman
Becky is my sister. I have known her forever. I am pretty sure she broke her arm as I was born. I don’t remember the details vividly; I was really young. Now, we see each other literally everyday as she is my life “Chaos Coordinator.” A title given to her because she works 24 / 7 to try to keep my life from shattering into complete and udder chaos. She is good at her job. She helps me in every aspect of my life, and at some point between the broken arm and being a chaos coordinator, we kind of became best friends. As best wo(man), I am sure she will work to make sure our wedding day is perfect and not chaotic, like she does with the rest of my life! P.S. Becky is double-y special being Neilsons Best Woman & one of Sara's Bridesmaid!
Best Man
Uncle Tony can do anything. Here are just a few examples of things he has done for or with me together in some capacity over the years… Renovating 2 long island houses, teaching me guitar, building a deck… 2 decks, starting and operating a solar sales company, making a music video, marketing for The Neilson Team, organizing a Charlie Kirk memorial bike ride, flying to Florida and renovating another home, clean up after the famous Poo-Nami, sculpting a near life size pink elephant out of snow, filming & editing multiple ridiculous home movies, helped video tape my family catching Santa, getting us into the 2001 game winning world series game and much much more. He has taught me so much in regard to being a patriot & love of country which is a pillar in my life. He is always there to support me, and any idea I have, no matter how crazy they are. And I recommend everyone get themselves an Uncle Tony! Proud to have him as a best man!
Groomsman
Theres not enough space to adequately describe mine and Nicks relationship here. We have known each other since 2nd grade, went to elementary, middle school high school, and even college together for a little bit. We share an avid love of sports, betting on sports, watching sports, discussing sports, everything sports, as he is the biggest Pittsburgh Steelers fan you will ever meet, and I am a psychotic Green Bay Packers fan. We will not bring up the fact that the Packers defeated the Steelers in the 2011 Super Bowl. We have spent vacations together, made some of the best memories (and forgot a lot of them) together from Kansas City to Nashville to Ocean City and more. Nick is family, and happy to have him as a groomsman!
Groomsman
If you've ever seen the movie Step Brothers when Will Ferrell says “Did we just become best friends” that moment was almost exactly how mine and Toms relationship started. Meeting in College, we basically immediately became best friends when after one night we both thought the other was the coolest funniest person ever. Since then, there has been a lot of UFC fight nights, poker nights, T-Shirts in Cortland, trips (Trip of Destiny), Sundays with friends, and much more. Through it all our friendship remains strong. I will never forget the feeling I had being Toms Groomsman, and it only make sense to have you up there with me for my wedding.
Groomsman
Despo (AKA Michael Desposito) and I first met at Cortland. Despo did not go to Cortland, he just partied there so much people thought he did. Bonding through our love of Brett Favre and the Green Bay Packers, Despo and I have watched the Packers win countless games together and consoled each other through a similar number of losses. After everything we've been through such as The Trip of Destiny, Ocean City, Nashville, waking up in a canoe in the middle of a lake with no paddle, Selling / buying / refinancing and much more, I was honored to be Despo’s best man at his wedding as well. I am honored to have a man of his quality standing with me on my wedding day.
Groomsman
(AKA: B Sauce) and I have been friends since Hauppauge Middle school, and while it all remains a blur to us, we apparently also went to college at SUNY Cortland together as well. As a roommate, best friend, and basically each other’s shadow for a few years, we have been through it all. Growing up together comes with all sorts up ups and downs, and Brandon has always been there for me through both. One of the highlights of my life was standing by his side as his best man years ago, and I am very proud to have him by my side for my big day.
Groomsman
Vik and his TI83 plus calculator are the only reasons I passed Physics in High School. From class, to listening to T-Pain while winning beer pong tournaments, to a 5AM meeting about real estate and life goals at a Dunkin Donuts, Vik has been in my life for 20 years now. Besides the fact he is convinced he can beat me at Basketball 1 on 1, which is wild! lol… he is a great friend, great family man, and just a high-quality person that I am honored to have with me on my wedding day.
Groomsman
When I first met my now brother-in-law Sean, he really liked board games and I really liked sports… now I am playing Catan and doing puzzles and he’s wearing a cheese head at Packers games! Sean is one of those guys who is down to do anything, and you can add him to any scenario and make it better. Sean has been a great friend, he’s a great husband, and a great addition to our family. I love that he has come into my life, and happy to have him as a groomsman.
