What is the dress code?

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors on the marina, please plan to be by the water and possible wind factors. The reception will be indoors with easy access to the outdoors.

What should I do if the weather is bad?

Answer

In the event of rain or inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved inside.

What kind of shoes should I wear?

Answer

Wear what makes you happy. The venue is all on solid hard flooring and we will not be walking on grass or gravel at any time. Make sure your shoes allow for plenty of dancing!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please respond to the RSVP page by Friday, April 20th. Don't forget to indicate your meal preference!

Due to venue capacity, we can only accommodate those listed on your invitation and RSVP prompt.

While we love your little ones, this is an adult-only affair.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 15–30 minutes early to find your seats and enjoy a pre-ceremony cocktail! The Bohlin will be accepting guests starting at 5PM.

Is there a shuttle to and from the hotel?

Answer

Yes! Shuttles will leave from The Pell hotel to The Bohlin starting at 4:30pm from The Pell hotel parking lot. After the reception, shuttles will be taking guests back to The Pell hotel. The return busses will leave at roughly 11:05pm.

Both the Ceremony and the Reception will take place at The Bohlin which is located at 20 Commercial Wharf, Newport, RI 02840.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Unfortunately, no & parking will be difficult to find around the venue.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We have hired a photography to capture the moment and we would love to have everyone “in the moment” rather than on their phones.
