Emerald Bay State Park
Beautiful views of the West Shore of Lake Tahoe, hiking trails to Cascade Falls, Eagle Falls, and Vikingsholm. It is a 30-40 minute drive from South Lake Tahoe.

Delicious pizza, gluten-free options. Good for take-out or dine-in. Located at Heavenly Basecamp. 5 minutes from April and Neil's place.
Riva Grill On the Lake
Happy hour to have lake views or great if looking to have a nice sit-down meal. Probably not a first choice if you have children in town.
Bijou Community Park
Has mtb jumps and courses. It has a playground for kids to play, too!
Zephyr Cove Beach
This large beach is located on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe and offers a range of amenities, including restrooms, picnic tables, a marina, and a restaurant.
Cave Rock - Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park
Cave Rock is the best sunset location. It is short hike, however the top has some minor bouldering.
Nevada Beach Campground
This long, sandy beach is located on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe and offers great views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. It also has a campground and a picnic area.
Kiva Beach
This secluded beach is located at the end of a short hike and offers a more peaceful and natural setting. It also has a dog-friendly area.
Drink Coffee Do Stuff
Great spot for coffee and a quick breakfast. Order inside or at the walk-up window, right down the road from Neil and April's house.
