Buttermilk Falls State Park
The Buttermilk Falls State Park is an 811-acre state park in Southwest of Ithaca. Getting its name from the foaming cascade caused by Buttermilk Creek when it flows down towards Cayuga Lake, this state park is a favorite among visitors.
Robert H. Treman State Park
The Robert H. Treman State Park is a 1,110-acre state park located in Tompkins County. Featuring the rugged gorge, Enfield Glen, this park is made up of several winding trails and about 12 waterfalls.
Taughannock Falls State Park
The Taughannock Falls Gorge Trail is a must-see whenever you visit Ithaca and it is open year round. This 3.1 km long trail is relatively easy for all skill levels and is well-shaded with a lot of places to cool off in the stream during the summer months.
