A Mata Ki Chowki is a holy event that consists of prayers (kirtan) of the Divine Mother Goddess Durga and is traditionally performed at the beginning of an auspicious occasion. The Chowki will be followed by dinner.

Please join us for a Mehndi Night at the Italianate House! A Mehndi party is the pre-wedding celebration in Hindu culture when the bride has the mehndi applied to her palms, back of hands, and feet. There will be food, music, and dance! Guests will also be able to get their mehndi done if they so wish.

Please join us for our wedding festivities kicking off with the baraat at 3:30pm! The baraat is a North Indian tradition by which the groom arrives to the ceremony on a decorated white horse. Guests dance around him to the beat of a dhol, an Indian drum. After that, the couple and families will begin the ceremony.
