Great Canoe and Kayak rental spot on the University of Washington campus. Max worked here for 3 summers during college. Best summer job ever!

Ada's Technical Books and Cafe
A cute coffee shop with delicious snacks and science-based books and games. Neha comes here for a treat on her (rare) days off. She recommends the potato wedges :)
Arboretum Loop Trail
Get outside for a beatiful walk through one of Seattle's many parks, convenientlly located right in Madison Valley. Azaelea Way is the main path through the park, but you can get lost on many paths amongst the trees. We will be holding our welcome dinner event very near the loop trail in the Arboretum!
Optimism Brewing Co
There are no shortages of breweries in Seattle. Optimism is one of our go-tos because it is within walking distance and you can bring in your own food! Food trucks are also on-site.
Madrona Park
Take in the beautiful views of Mt. Rainier in the distance while swimming in Lake Washington!
