TAP Air offers direct flights to Lisbon from Boston (BOS), Chicago (ORD), Miami (MIA), New York (JFK and EWR), San Francisco (SFO), and Washington, D.C. (IAD). We recommend flying into Humberto Delgado Airport (Lisbon Airport), which is conveniently located about 10 minutes from Lisbon’s city center and approximately 20–25 minutes by car to Cascais and Estoril.

LIS Airport Information

Here are a few things we've learned that we hope will help make your Portugal travel experience smooth and enjoyable: When arriving at LIS airport, you will go through passport control, grab your checked bags (if any), then exit through customs. Follow signs for "P2" to catch your Bolt or Uber. When departing from LIS airport, we strongly recommend arriving 3 hours before your international flight. You will pass through a boarding pass check, a security check, then a passport check. We strongly recommend skipping the shops/restaurants immediately after the security check and going straight to the passport check. This can take 30-60 minutes. There are shops/restaurants after the passport check.

House or Rental

AirBnB is a fantastic option when traveling in Portugal. Cascais/Estoril is a beach resort town, thus providing many options for larger apartment and home rentals. This is especially a great option for those traveling as a family or group. We would recommend using the venue address as a point of reference and/or sticking to areas that are closer or walking distance to the waterfront.
