Wedding Party

Amanda Hundley

Maid of Honor

“Lylac” is an acronym that Amanda and Michelle often send each other. It’s a play on words from the old “Lylas” or Love-ya-like-a-sister. Amanda and Michelle’s version is love-ya-like-a-cousin. It’s silly, but it’s always been something they’ve said since they can remember. Only being slightly less than 2 years apart, Amanda and Michelle have grown close over the years as cousins. Through it all, they’ve always been there for each other. They are the Pink Ranger to the other’s Yellow Ranger, the blue Easter basket to the other’s pink. Michelle was absolutely thrilled when Amanda agreed to be her MOH, and she can’t wait for her to be there on her big day where they definitely will be dancing the night away!

Jessica (Neal) Fox

Bridesmaid

Jessica is John’s younger sister. Michelle and Jessica have recently bonded through the planning of Jessica’s own wedding and through various fun vacations and fishing excursions. They share the love of Escape Rooms, musicals, coffee, and crabbing. Although Jessica is much more adventurous than Michelle, Michelle loves being around her soon-to-be-sister. Michelle is thrilled to have Jessica as one of her bridesmaids, and can’t wait to have her as her sister-in-law!

Jennifer (Scott) Gallagher

Bridesmaid

There is no way Michelle could throw an awesome wedding unless her partner-in-hashtag-crime was there! Michelle and Jennifer met in high school where they shared mutual friends. The two of them became close again in “adulthood” and now share even more through their love of guacamole, 90s music, Lifetime movies (#Bella), and ridiculous inside jokes. Michelle is stoked that her #Boo will be there on her big day!

Blythe (Hagan) Schreiber

Bridesmaid

Widener’s finest! Blythe and Michelle met when they both were attending Widener University a long-long time ago.....but John and Blythe actually went to Havertown high school at the same time! Blythe and Michelle’s friendship consisted of Starbucks, Taco Bell, overly-alcoholic-apple martinis (Michelle can’t even look at Apple Pucker liquor to this day) and dancing. Later, Blythe even came up from Florida (where she was living) just to surprise Michelle for her baby shower! These days there’s still Starbucks (duh) but now we share our love of the outdoors and our beliefs. Michelle is so excited to have her HT (inside joke) beside her on her big day!

Jackie Stem

Bridesmaid

This is a friendship that began before it even started! Jackie’s sister started being friends with Michelle’s cousin in high school, so Jackie and Michelle’s paths were destined to cross. Not only did they eventually cross, but they became family. Jackie and Michelle share a love of all that is Halloween, tattoos, meat jerky, scary movies, crafts, vegan food, and rescue animals. These two have seen each other through a lot and their bond always remained strong through it all. Michelle couldn’t image having her wedding day without Jackie at her side.

Ava Fox

Junior Bridesmaid

Ava is the daughter of Groomsman, John Fox, making her Michelle’s soon-to-be-niece. In fact, after Michelle got engaged, Ava started calling her Aunt Michelle, which made Michelle cry! Ava’s spunky/silly personally makes her a joy to be around. Michelle is so excited to have Ava as her Junior Bridesmaid and knows that Ava will have a great time!

Matthew Scholz

Best Man

Matt (or “Scholz” as he’s better known) has known Jack since high school....when Scholz notoriously had dreads in his hair. Back then, the two bonded over lifting weights and hanging out. These days, they have a love/hate relationship during fantasy football season because they always compete against each other in the same league. Jack knew Scholz was the one to ask to be his best man, although Michelle is secretly worried about his Best Man speech.

Tom Hawkins

Groomsman

Tom and Jack share a love of playing ice hockey. They met in high school and then ending up working together for two years later in life. One great memory for the two of them was a legendary trip to A.C. in which Tom somehow left without his shoes. Jack knew Tom would make an excellent addition to the bridal party.

Mike Oltman

Groomsman

Jack and Oltman were good friends throughout high school and college. They even went on a senior trip to Florida together. One thing they did a lot of together was play Texas Hold-Em. These days, they compete against each other each year in Fantasy Football. Jack knew Oltman would make a great addition to the Groomsmen.

John Fox

Groomsman

John Fox married Jack’s sister, Jessica, in June 3rd, 2017. John and Jack not only share the same first name, but a love of rock music, the beach, and sarcasm, and lager. Jack was in John’s wedding, so Jack knew he wanted John to be a part of his, as well.

Nathan Durnin

Groomsman

Nate is Michelle’s cousin Amanda’s boyfriend. The four of them try to do regular date nights together where the boys can hang out and the girls can dance to live music. Nate and Jack have bonded during many of Michelle and Amanda’s family functions and have been there for both girls during the recent loss of two of their family members. Jack knew he wanted Nate to be a part of his big day.

Ethan Stem

Junior Groomsman

Ethan is Michelle’s eldest son. Ethan has a passion for all things soccer, sports, astronomy, science, and Legos. Jack and Ethan bond over sports, the fact that they both are the oldest sibling, history, and their caring personalities. Ethan quickly accepted Jack into the family and loves when he gets to see him and play catch with him in the backyard. Ethan’s reaction to the engagement? “Yes! Now we get to go cake testing with you!”

Parker Stem

Junior Groomsman

Parker is Michelle’s younger son. He made quite the impression when he first met Jack because he proceeded to stick a Lego up his nose and chaos ensued. Parker loves building Legos with Jack and asking him endless history questions. Parker’s reaction was priceless when Michelle and Jack got engaged. He responded with, “let me see the ring.... good job, Jack!”
