Puerto Nuevo Lobster
If you're driving from Tijuana to Ensenada, we highly recommend you stop for lunch in Puerto Nuevo. Here you can eat lobster tacos Rosarito style (rice, beans, flour tortilla, salsa, and a copious amount of melted butter). You will not regret it! We ate at Angel del Mar but we hear Puerto Nuevo Restaurant and Villa Ortega's are great options as well!
Aguamala Microbrewery
If you need a break from wine, this brewery offers delicious local beer in a fun setting. Try the "Astillero" if you like IPA.
Adobe Guadalupe Vineyard
This vineyard is close to our hearts. Their "Kerubiel" was the first wine bottle we shared together, while dancing to Buena Vista Social Club. When you visit, you can also go see their horse stables and puppies!
Casa de Piedra Vineyard
Delicious wine - innovative and creative approach that is respectful to the setting and the valleys history.
Paralelo Vineyard
It is an ambitious project: use identical ingredients, in exact proportions, yet nurtured on different terrain. Grown in parallel, as it were. The same grape varietal will give forth a complex and unique flavor from its twin, depending on whether it has flourished in sandy earth, rocky ground, hillside or reddish clay.
Monte Xanic Vineyard
One of the biggest and most impressive wineries. We particularly recommend the white wine.
Finca Altozano Restaurant
Local ingredients (some grown right on the property) with a stunning, open setting overlooking the fields of the Valley. Come taste the delicious BBQ!
Laja Restaurant
Nadza's favorite meal of our trip to Ensenada! In an intimate setting that feels like someone's living room, the chef just blew us away with the inventive dishes, cooked with produce directly harvested from the garden in the backyard. The waiter even went out to pick a vegetable we didn't know to show us what it looks like. Make sure to reserve ahead of time, as it was voted one of LATAMs top 50.

Relaxed setting on a hilltop vineyard with delicious food! Our reception drinks will take place here Friday night, but if you want to come for a proper meal on another day, we recommend a reservation!

We absolutely love Sabina's 'La Guerrerense'. And so did Anthony Bourdain who featured her in his show 'No Reservations'. You need to try her world-famous seafood tostadas!
