Alyssa and Zach met through an old roommate of hers when they all went to the library to study. They found out they had the same college classes and similar birthdays. From that day on, they kept hanging out and fell in love with each other in no time. Neither person was looking for love, but they later discovered they were each other's person to be.

Zach had asked Alyssa to be his date to his fraternity's formal in Tennessee. He had an elaborate plan to ask her at the Skybridge. But one night, they looked at the stars above them and admired the beauty of the sky. Zach asked her to be his girlfriend as the moment was just right.

Alyssa knew that Zach was going to propose before too long, as she caught him planning and asking for her parents' permission. He decided to catch her off guard and surprise her anyway. After Alyssa recovered from her surgery, he decided to treat her to a well-deserved day. At the end of the day, he brought her back to where they had their first-anniversary dinner, The Kentucky Castle. On top of the castle, string lights were hung, and their song was playing. From there, he got on one knee and asked Alyssa to be his wife underneath the stars where it all began.
