What began as a simple radio broadcast in 1925 is today a live entertainment phenomenon. Dedicated to honoring country music's rich history and dynamic present, the Grand Ole Opry showcases a mix of country legends and the contemporary chart-toppers who have followed in their footsteps. The Opry, an American icon and Nashville, Tennessee's number-one attraction, is world-famous for creating one-of-a-kind entertainment experiences for audiences of all ages. It's been called the "home of American music" and "country's most famous stage." Broadway is known as Nashville's Honky Tonk Highway. For those who don't know, a honky tonk is an establishment that contains at least one rockin' stage, cold beverages and a party that lasts all day, everyday. Broadway is a row of these beautiful things pumping live music into the streets from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. Popular bars along Broadway include Acme Feed & Seed, Honky Tonk Central, Robert's Western World, The Stage, Tin Roof and Tootsie's Orchid Lounge.

The Frist Center for the Visual Arts has become a magnet for Nashville's rapidly expanding visual arts scene. With an exhibitions schedule that has new art flowing through the magnificent art deco building every 6 to 8 weeks, no matter how often you visit, there is always something new and exciting to see in the spacious galleries. The Frist Center was conceived as a family-friendly place, and one of the most popular locations in the center is the innovative Martin ArtQuest Gallery. It's a colorful space alive with the sounds of learning through making art. ArtQuest activities abound for people of all ages. With 30 interactive stations, and the assistance of knowledgeable staff and volunteers, ArtQuest teaches through activity. Make a print, paint your own original watercolor or create your own colorful sculpture.
Adventure Science Center is a science museum featuring over 175 hands-on interactive exhibits with themes including biology, physics, visual perception, listening, mind, air and space, energy and earth science. The building includes a 75-foot-tall adventure tower and the Sudekum Planetarium.
Nashville Zoo is a progressive and dynamic zoological park with 365 species and 2,764 animals, including a special red panda cub exhibit.
Cheekwood is a 55-acre botanical garden and art museum located on the historic Cheek estate. Since being converted into a museum of art and botanical garden in 1960, Cheekwood has presented world-class art exhibitions, spectacular gardens and an historic estate unlike anything else. Each year, Cheekwood welcomes over 225,000 visitors, making it one of the city’s top cultural attractions, with approximately 14,000 member households. Opened in 2007, Arrington Vineyards provides a “wine country experience” of award winning wines set among the picturesque rolling hills of middle Tennessee. Owned by country music artist Kix Brooks, winemaker Kip Summers and entrepreneur John Russell, Arrington Vineyards has truly become “Nashville’s Wine Country." Arrington ships wine to thousands of club members in 35 states from California to Maine. AV wines have also been featured in restaurants in NYC, New Orleans and across the state of Tennessee. Since its inception, Arrington Vineyards has focused on quality while continuing to develop and grow.
