Ashley and Kyle met the way all great modern love stories begin—with a swipe right on Bumble! Their first date in February 2020 was a bowling night full of laughs and (slightly) competitive vibes. Just a few weeks later… the world shut down. Nothing like a global pandemic to test your connection early! With FaceTime dates and socially distant chats, they got to know each other in a weird but wonderful way. Once things opened back up, they made up for lost time with beach days, ice cream runs, and falling in love under the summer sun. On August 11, 2020, Kyle asked Ashley to be his girlfriend—on the beach, of course. Since then, they’ve gone on countless adventures, road trips, and even moved in together. (Big step!) About a year into living together, Ashley started dropping very obvious puppy hints—and a few months later, Winston the Bernedoodle strutted into their lives and stole their hearts. On August 17, 2024, Kyle brought their story full circle. Back on the beach where it all began, surrounded by loved ones, he asked Ashley to marry him. She said yes—and now, they can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with you!
