The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens
A peaceful nature oasis in the Pasadena area. You can spend a few hours or all day getting lost in the gardens. The bonsai collection makes Eric jealous.
Zuma Beach
Natty's home beach. Also, famously where two things happened. 1) An astronaut was lead by an ape to see the Statue of Liberty, and 2) a curly haired girl was lead by a bald man to a surprise proposal picnic.
Carnival Restaurant
So good that Nat's family did every birthday here. Eric met Nat's parents here. Nat met Eric's parents here. And they ran into Nat's brother-in-law because you can't keep that family away.
Griffith Observatory
As in seen Rebel Without A Cause as seen in La La Land. Great views of the city, and ya know, space.
Vasquez Rocks Natural Area and Nature Center
This is Eric's Disneyland. You can hike, you can climb, you can explore, you can read the wikipedia list of the literal HUNDREDS of films and shows that have been shot here through Hollywood History. It's a bit outside the city, but so worth it.
The Pub at Golden Road- Atwater Village
Maybe you've heard of 'em. They distribute nationally, but their brewery in Glendale is a great hang. Flights, lunch, dinner, cornhole. Yeah, it goes hard.
