Five years ago, during lockdown, we met on an app called house party - that’s the way love stories started in those days! Joe was keen from the get-go... Nat, less so. So, we stayed in the friend-zone for a while, with Joe laying the groundwork for what can only be described as the longest soft launch in history. It wasn’t until we booked a last-minute trip to Santorini (thank you easyJet) that everything changed. What was meant to be a quick break turned into 10 days and somewhere between the sunsets, the souvlaki, and Joe calling it a “friends trip” while booking the honeymoon suite, Nat was starting to think this really could be something quite special. Since then, we’ve moved in together, travelled a lot, and made the brave move out of the Yager household—realising we’re the perfect balance of chill and chaotic. Fast forward to last summer, Joe brought things full circle with a surprise trip back to Santorini, taking Nat to the same hotel and even the places where she’d once said, “I just want to be friends.” This time, though, things were very different - and a lot wobblier - when he chose a boat out in the middle of the sea to get down on one knee during a stunning sunset. She said yes, proving that sometimes persistence pays off. Now, we can’t wait to celebrate our next chapter with all of you, the people who’ve been cheering us on from the very start! **
