We're Getting Married!

In 2021, we met the modern way: playing video games online. After a couple years of getting to know each other, everything changed on a New Year’s trip in 2023. At midnight on New Year’s Eve, we shared our first kiss, and on the ride home we admitted we were falling in love. After graduation, we decided to take a chance on long distance. That is until Mike packed up his life (and a very stressful amount of LEGO sets) and moved to Minnesota in 2024. Later on when we started talking about marriage, there was one request from the bride: whenever the proposal happened, it had to be a surprise. To stay guessing, we started planning monthly special dates for each other. On the very first one, the bride jokingly reached for groom's pocket and said, “How funny would it be if we got engaged tonight right off the bat?” What she didn’t know was that the ring was already hidden in his other pocket, and Mike had secretly arranged a surprise proposal at home with help from her family.
