Answer

Please wear formal ALL black attire. Ladies in elegant black gowns or pant suits, and gentlemen in black tuxedos or suits. Dress to impress! Take a look at our "Dress Code: Black" section for inspiration.

Answer

No. Due to a strict venue guest count, we can only accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please contact the bride or groom.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We highly encourage guests to valet park or Uber/Lyft to the venue. All events including ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and optional after party will be at The Citizen Hotel. Valet parking is available 24/7 for $40 (reduced rate for wedding guests). Nearby self parking is available at Capitol Garage (1129 10th St, 0.2 miles away), or street parking at your discretion. Please arrive early to give yourself ample time if you plan on using a nearby garage or street parking.

Answer

You can click the RSVP tab above and RSVP at any time before December 15th. If we do not receive a response by December 15th, we will assume you are not able to join us.

Answer

Your presence is the greatest gift! We kindly ask guests to consider contributing to our Newlywed Fund through the “Registry” on the website. Our coordinator will also collect cards at the venue.

Our wedding will be completely indoors! You will not need to worry about the weather once you arrive.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive for the ceremony at 3 PM. If you come earlier, feel free to enjoy the venue’s onsite bar, restaurant, or lounge for refreshments while you wait. Once doors close for the wedding ceremony they will remain closed until cocktail hour begins. If you arrive late, you can join us during cocktail hour. We recommend coming into town the day before if you are traveling or leaving earlier than necessary for same-day travel.

Answer

This is completely optional. Our reception ends promptly at 10 PM. We decided to have an after party to keep the fun going and allow guest extra time to spend with us. We are inviting extra loved ones as well!

We love your little ones, but our celebration will be adults-only. Only children in the wedding party will attend the ceremony. We hope you enjoy a fun night out with us!

Please visit the "Hotel" section on our website to view our hotel selection. Our wedding venue is a hotel and the other two hotels listed are nearby. Sacramento has a robust Airbnb selection as well!
