What are we doing to maintain safety precautions for Covid during the wedding?

Answer

Covid has created everchanging restrictions and we want to do the best to keep up with them! California has reopened, but we continue to follow specific safety practices that businesses are putting forth to keep us safe. Thus, at this time we ask you bring your mask to our wedding. Our ceremony is outside, and the reception will be in a spacious outdoor tent. Hand sanitizer will be provided and we continue to encourage you to practice hand hygiene. Covid swabs will be required for unvaccinated guests 72hrs prior the event at your individual cost. We are hopeful these restrictions will loosen by the wedding but times remain uncertain.

Question

What if I change my mind on how comfortable I feel in terms of traveling to the wedding after I RSVP?

Answer

Things happen. After the year we've had we certainly understand that flexibility is essential. That being said it is extremely important that you try to communicate changes in your RSVP status to us immediately, and keep us in the loop at time of RSVP if you think you may have a change in heart due to the state of the pandemic.

Will there be an option to join by video if my party is uncomfortable attending a wedding at this time?

Answer

Yes, at this time we would love to have you be a part of our ceremony if you feel that traveling is not something you are comfortable with doing. Please specify this at the time of your RSVP so we can ensure to coordinate you being a part of a video stream!

Can I bring a plus one if my invite doesn't specify?

Answer

At this time we ask you contact us directly with this question for us to assess the capacity status. The invitation will specify if you have a guest or guests.

What should I wear?

Answer

The wedding will be semi-formal, but please make sure you are comfortable with whatever outfit you decide to wear. Be sure to check the forecast ahead of time as Half Moon Bay is a coastal city that can get a little chilly and foggy at times. To be safe bring layers! Additionally the ceremony will be on grass, it is recommended that ladies bring block heels or wedges for comfort.
