Just across the square from Independence Hall. No ticket required, but there may be a line....which based on experience moves pretty quickly!
Stroll along the Schuykill River and enjoy the collegiate and local club boathouses. Rows have been racing on the Schuykill for 150 years!
Philly is famous the world over for their cheesesteaks. Everyone in Philly has an opinion that they will passionately wax on about and tell you to go play in traffic if you disagree. Below is a small sampling of well Philly cheesesteak locals. "Pat's King of Steaks" and "Geno's Steaks" - Two of the oldest and best known contenders that are widely respected. Directly across the street from each other and fierce rivals. To be honest, the lines were always too long so I've never tried either. "Dalessandro's Steaks" - A well loved Roxborough contender. Also long lines. Slightly better than an Idaho school cafeteria cheesesteak in my opinion. "Angelo's Pizzeria" - Don't let the name fool you. They make the best hoagie rolls in town. As I always say, "Come for the philly cheesesteak and leave happy with a belly full of meatball sub." *These views are Nate's and do not represent Carols views. She will definitely disagree vehemently.
Cute Philly urban square.
Historic City Hall.
Famous photograph spot for the city of brotherly love. What better place to take a picture at a wedding than in front of the LOVE park sign?
Walk around the UPenn and Drexel campuses. Very pretty historic buildings.
