What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving at 3:00 PM to join us for a welcome hour with light refreshments and mingling before the ceremony begins. If you’re unable to make the welcome hour, please plan to arrive no later than 3:45 PM to be seated before the ceremony starts promptly at 4:00 PM.

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes! The entire event will be held at Hillside Gardens — 1006 S Institute St, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Yes, please dress accordingly and bring a light jacket and sunglasses.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There’s plenty of street parking around the venue, so you shouldn’t have any trouble finding a spot!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’re having a semi-formal wedding—think gowns, tuxes, suits, or cocktail dresses. Since we’ll be in the gardens, ‘garden party’ attire is also perfect. Feel free to keep it stylish but comfortable!

Can I wear any color to the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Please feel free to wear any color you love—except white, which we’re reserving for the bride. If you’d prefer to avoid matching the wedding party, they’ll be wearing auburn, rosette, and rose gold dresses or light grey tuxedos. We can’t wait to see you looking your best!

Is this a child-friendly wedding?

Answer

Yes! If your kiddos are not already listed on your invitation, please reach out to Nate and Carli directly. Gentle reminder, the gardens are big, beautiful... and full of adventures. For everyone's peace of mind, please keep your tiny explorers close.

How long will the celebration last?

Here’s the flow of the day: 3:00 PM – Welcome Hour 🍹 4:00 PM – Ceremony 💍 5:30 PM – Reception 🎶 10:00 PM – Bride & Groom Send-Off ✨ We recommend planning rides/babysitters until after the send-off if you want to stay for the whole party!

Absolutely! We’ll have appetizers during cocktail hour, followed by buffet-style catering and an open bar. Come hungry and thirsty!

Can I take photos with my phone or personal camera?

Answer

We respectfully ask that phones remain put away during the ceremony. But don't worry there will be plenty of photo ops during the cocktail hour and reception!

Will there be a hashtag for the wedding?

Answer

We’re still finalizing the hashtag, but don’t worry—you’ll be able to share your photos! We’ll have QR codes at the wedding so you can upload your photos straight to a shared drive—we can’t wait to see the day through your eyes!

We are! You’ll find our honeymoon fund and gift registries right here on our website. A gift is appreciated but never expected—we’re just excited to celebrate with you!
