From living with Nathaniel for three years to traveling Europe alongside Krista and Thomas, Austin has been a brave and loyal friend and has scored highly on his annual friendship performance reviews. Maggie is the wonderful and adorable little sister of Krista and local annoyance of Nathaniel. She is very excited for their wedding, where they will join in ever-lasting love or whatever and she will get to be the super cool Maid of Honor. When not doing wedding duties, you will find her talking about ecology and contemplating grad school.

Since meeting at the age of two in daycare, Sean has been one of Nathaniel's closest and most handsome friends. Sean and Nathaniel grew up together and have been through it all at each other's side. And the marriage of Nathaniel and Krista would never have happened if not for the totally sweet date Sean set up at Terry B's restaurant. So yes, you're welcome, have a great time.
Vanessa Moody

Vanessa and Krista have probably been friends for almost a decade, and we would know that if we could count to ten. We spent years taking similar classes such as orchestra, and eventually melded into one person by taking the exact same IB courses for two years straight. We've travelled far and wide since -- noteworthy mentions include Switzerland, Boston, New Orleans, Seattle, Barcelona, and Malta -- but we truly peaked in Cyprus. It's all been downhill since.

Thomas met the groom during preschool, planting the seeds of a friendship that would later bloom in high school. After a semester of whispering viola jokes during orchestra class, the two ended up sharing a room in NYC on an orchestra trip. Roommates once more in college, the men have grown close-- though not without competition. Thomas met the bride through Nathaniel, and the two hit it off due to their shared femininity. Over the past two years, Krista and Thomas have become great friends, even traveling together overseas. Krista admits that Thomas is one of the funniest people she knows after a night out. A Scoliosis survivor, it's true Thomas can get bent out of shape, but after a good cup of tea lies a quirky and mild-mannered friend who wishes his best to the happy couple.
Celina Clark

Celina is a friend of Nathaniel's and one of the bride's closest friends since 3rd grade. She met Nathaniel on the bus in 7th grade and reconnected with him in high school as Krista and Nathaniel started dating. They all bonded over their admiration for music. She recently graduated from WMU and accepted a supply chain job at Flowserve in Virginia. Celina made the decision to end her life on March 9, 2022. She was in an incredible amount of emotional pain and we will miss her for the rest of our lives. In Celina's honor, we ask that everyone remember to always prioritize mental health and authenticity in their lives and to help others do the same.

Grace is Nathaniel's favorite little sister. She first became acquainted with Krista when she helped Nathaniel pick out the flowers he gave her when he asked her to junior prom. Five years later, he remains just as clueless. Nevertheless, she has enjoyed watching their relationship grow and is very excited to watch them get married.

Equally nerdy for all of the same reasons, Erin met Krista during their first semester of college in Arabic 101- or maybe it was International Studies 101 first? They quickly bonded over their love of learning languages, travel, and the fact that they both took a gap year abroad before starting college. Those shared interests spurred an exciting friendship consisting of lots and lots of studying and practicing Arabic together, and lots of crazy experiences- particularly from the summer they spent studying abroad in Jordan. Studying Arabic has opened a lot of interesting doors for Erin, and who would have thought that through one of those doors would be a lifelong friend. Erin would also like to extend a heartfelt honorable mention to Nathaniel for getting her through that complex systems class the three of them took together junior year.
Kudret Taskin

Kudret studied abroad at Krista's high school and then messaged Krista when she saw Krista was studying abroad in Turkey to help her with questions about Turkish culture. The two quickly became best friends over their obsession with an alternative university which they both got rejected from, but that only brought them closer. They are now so close that Kudret even started dating Nathaniel's best friend, which, as the disbelieving border guard man said, is just like a TV show. The border guard also didn't believe that Krista had a parrot. Kudret, too, loves animals and spends her time fostering rambunctious put bulls in her tiny Istanbul apartment.

Crystal is 6 years old and loves to go to school and loves making friends. She also likes cats and playing with her Barbie dream house. Her little brother "Ajeck" (Alex) is really cute and she wants to be a superhero when she grows up.

Alex is 4 years old, loves trucks, and loves to dance --especially the happy feet dance. In his free time you will find Alex giving out high fives, listening to music, and playing with his recycling truck.
