Posting this directly from instructions given to me by the church. My tips are in parentheses. This dress code is only for the church ceremony . Everyone is free to dress as they please for the reception and after party at Merci Buccoo. Ensure that the stipulated dress code is strictly adhered to for rehearsals, preparation of the church, and the marriage ceremony: Ladies: • Backs, breasts and shoulders MUST be covered • Cleavage should not be exposed (If you wear a no sleeve or spaghetti strap dress a matching shawl or scarf to cover over while in the church should be fine. My wedding dress will def show my shoulders but I plan to use my veil to cover) • Thighs should be covered • No see-through • No slippers • No beach wear • No chewing of gum Gentlemen: • No hats • No vests (wife beaters) or merinos • No short or ¾ pants • No chewing of gum • No display of underwear • No slippers No beach wear
