Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 24th, but we would appreciate you letting us know at the soonest opportunity! Any RSVPs received after this date will be marked as a 'no' as we will be sending final headcounts to vendors shortly after this deadline.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless it is specifically indicated on your envelope or when you go to RSVP on our website. When you select RSVP you will be able to see the exact number of people you can RSVP for.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Sort of! We ask that you please do not wear jeans! If we had to put a name to it, we would say dress your Sunday best! We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, and creams. The ceremony will be outdoors, but the reception will be indoors and it will be hot outside!

What is the Color scheme?

Answer

Earth tones! If you are looking for inspiration for your outfit we recommend going with an earth tone! Our bridal party will be decked out in maroon, terracotta, sage, and a grayish-blue! Feel free to dress within that color scheme or whatever makes you confident!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is going to start at 5pm sharp. We recommend guests arrive between 4:30-4:45pm so there is time to mingle and find a seat. There might be traffic depending on the timing of the TAMU football game - so we would rather you arrive earlier than later! If you show up late, please wait until the ceremony is over before you join us. We would love for you to still join us for the reception!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, we regretfully cannot accommodate everyone's children at our wedding due to restricted numbers and space. This pertains to children of all ages including infants, toddlers, and kids. Please refer to the 'RSVP' tab to see if we are able to accommodate your children. If we are unable to invite your children, we appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and hope that you see this as an opportunity to let your hair down and enjoy the party with us!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Texas A&M will be having a home football game the same day as our wedding. They are playing Bowling Green - so it won't be as crazy as it would be if they were playing TU or Bama - but traffic could still be a factor depending on when the game starts. Our venue is located north of College Station, in between there and Hearne, so depending on where you're coming from, you might not travel through College Station. Additionally, if you are thinking of needing hotel accommodations, we would recommend making those early!

I have a food preference/allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We are going to have a build your own taco/nacho bar - so if there is something that you don't eat, you'll be able to pick and choose from there! If you have a severe allergy, please reach out to us and we will make sure there is something there for you to eat!
