Question

Where is the Ceremony? The reception?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be held on Concordia St. Paul's Campus in the Graebner Memorial Chapel at 4pm. Please arrive 15 minutes early. Street parking is available. The reception will be held in the upper room (elevator is available) of Aside Public House called Gatherings at Station 10, with an entrance on the side of the building. It begins at 5:30p. Guests can park in the parking lot behind the reception venue (the church parking lot for Awaken Community Church). It is designated parking for our event.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

It would honor us if you arrived and were seated 10-15 minutes prior to the 4pm start at Graebner Memorial Chapel located on Concordia University, Saint Paul's campus. Please allow time for parking along the street.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding and reception will be held in climate controlled indoor venues.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Many will be wearing suits and dresses, and others will find other classy ways to present themselves. Think in terms of a summer version of what you would wear to worship on Easter or Christmas Eve. We want you to feel both nice and comfortable in what you wear! Our wedding colors are jade, spice, mustard yellow, cream (from Kennedy Blue). You are welcome to coordinate with that color palette if you would like.

Question

How should I RSVP? When is the deadline?

Answer

You can click on the RSVP link at the top right to find your invitation and complete the RSVP. We ask that you please RSVP by May 15th.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

While we wish we could invite more friends and loved ones, we had to work hard on the guest list's limit. We ask that only those listed on the invitation that you received attend the wedding.

Question

How do I get to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

The wedding venue and reception are about a 10-minute drive apart. There is a parking lot (a church lot) behind A-Side Public House (this is the restaurant below our reception venue) where guests can park. From the reception, guests may carpool or designate a responsible individual as their designated driver. We chose the Hampton Inn and Suites on the edge of downtown St. Paul because it's the closest hotel to our reception at Gatherings at Station 10 at just over 2 miles (6 minutes) away. We encourage you to both drink responsibly and drive responsibly. Of course, Uber and Lyft are always the safest option post-reception.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! Your presence and relationship are more than enough. However, we have a few options if you would like to express your generosity through a gift. Please see the "Registry" tab at the top to see a few designated funds we have created, as well as some items on Amazon that we have registered for. Being where we are in life, we have most things we need. We would be so grateful to have a gift go toward these areas we've identified.

Question

Where is the best or easiest place to book lodging?

Answer

We have room blocks at the Hampton Inn and Suites in downtown St. Paul, as well as the Fairfield by Marriott Inn and Suites Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport in Mendota Heights. The Hampton Inn is close to our reception. The Fairfield is a bit more suburban and along 35E and 494 if guests prefer a hotel heading south or one in a more suburban location. Feel free to peruse AirBnB or VRBO or your favorite hotel chain for other options as well. More information can be found on the "Travel" page.

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

We want you to enjoy celebrating with us, and we will do our best to make sure there is adequate food for you to eat! There will be a place to note those needs on the RSVP.

Question

What are fun things to do in the Twin Cities?

Answer

We love the Twin Cities! They are particularly magical in the summertime with tons to do! Check out our "Things To Do" page where we have added (and keep adding) some of our favorite things to do, see, and eat in the Twin Cities and encourage you to explore them as well. Take the whole weekend and enjoy some time in the Cities!
