Eryn is Nathan's oldest daughter. She is 19 years young and just moved into her first home with her boyfriend and their two cute as ever dogs Koda & Wrigley. She also just started Cosmetology school at Nova Academy, Salina can't wait to have a permanent hair stylist to go to! Eryn is a smart and hardworking young lady, she enjoys reading and anything creative. We are so proud of all that she has accomplished in her short time as a young adult!
Carter Wortman
Groomsman
Carter is Nathan's son, he is 16 years old and ready to get his driver's license. He spends much of his free time playing soccer either for fun with friends or for one of the two teams he plays for. He also loves to spend time fishing and playing video games. Carter is quiet like his Dad but has a big heart and cares deeply for those of us in his life.
Emmett Meyer
Jr. Groomsman
Emmett is Salina's son. He is 11 years young and keeps himself quite busy with Soccer, Jiu Jitsu, Basketball and most recently Boxing classes. He also loves playing board and video games and all things Marvel and Harry Potter. This year Emmett is following in Salina's footsteps and will be learning to play the flute in band! Emmett is a funny one, always cracking jokes and making us laugh!
Kaylee Wortman
Jr. Bridesmaid
Kaylee is Nathan's youngest daughter, she is 11 years young. She plays Volleyball and Softball and most recently tried Tennis. She loves being creative and doing crafts. She also enjoys cooking and baking. When Kaylee is home, we always know we'll be trying a new recipe she has been excited to make or we'll be finding her newest slime creations around the house. She also is learning the Clarinet in school and we look forward to her first band concert.
Isaac Zickert

Isaac is Nathan's cousin. They have been close since childhood. They still get their families together as much as possible. One of Nathan's favorite memories is being young at their grandparent's farm and having 'sword fights' with cousins by using the empty leather sheaths of knives as the sword while the adults were cutting up deer after hunting.
Rachel Aljets

Rachel has been dating one of Salina's cousins for over 10 years and in that time they have become very close. Rachel is an incredibly sweet person who is always there to listen and give great advice. She's become part of Salina's family and is adored by all!
Mindy Volesky
Bridesmaid
Salina and Mindy are cousins but actually grew up like sisters. Their Mom's are inseparable identical twins and therefore they spent their childhoods together. Mindy has always been one of the most positive people Salina knows. She chooses happiness each and every day and it's truly contagious when you're lucky enough to be close with her. Salina feels blessed to call Mindy her sister.
Mike Blake
Best Man
Nathan and Mike met at work in 2012 and became fast friends. They bonded over shared military service, video games, the Packers, and recently golf. They have been roommates twice and still make time to hang out when possible. The kids call him Uncle Mike.
Brandon Wortman

Brandon is Nathan's younger brother and favorite mechanic. Brandon joined the military a few years after Nathan and is close to retirement. They grew up camping, fishing, and playing a lot of pool together.
Amanda Heyn
Sister of Honor
Salina and Amanda have been sisters since their parents got together in the late 90's. Because of their age difference Salina and Amanda haven't always been close but thankfully that has changed and now they don't go more than a day or two without speaking. As a bonus, she's one of the funniest people we know, there is never a dull moment when Manda is around!
Danny Heyn

Danny is Salina's Brother-in-law. Being that Danny's wife, Salina's sister Amanda, and Salina are so close it was inevitable that Danny and Salina have also grown close over the years. They like to debate over hot topics but do so respectfully and like to challenge each other's point of views in the most loving way!
Lindsey Walch
Matron of Honor
Salina and Lindsey went to high school together but became besties in their early twenties. They spent many years living life to their fullest and making the best and funnest memories together. Lindsey was Salina's rock as she became a single Mom. Salina often joked Lindz was her "Baby Daddy" in those first few years. Fast forward to now, they are both loving a new chapter of life, raising children and enjoying family life!

Josh is Salina's little brother through marriage. Salina has always enjoyed Josh's sense of humor. She knows if he's around there is bound to be plenty of laughs, especially if it's a costume party. He never fails to have the absolute best costumes! We appreciate Josh's happy go lucky personality, he always knows how to lighten the mood.
Sam Brown

Sam has been in Salina's life for many years and they've continued to get closer and closer. Sam became Salina's sister through marriage but is now her sister by choice. They've grown together as women and mothers. They have been a part of each other's lives through the ups and downs life has thrown at each of them. Sam is someone Salina knows she can count on no matter what and is so fortunate to have in her corner.
Scott Schroeder

Scott is Salina's cousin, he is more like a brother. Scott is one of the most fun people to be around. So many of us adore his company for the laughs and entertainment he provides but more than that he has been someone Salina can call up whenever needed and he'd be right there in a heartbeat!

Jayden is Salina's first born niece and Goddaughter. She had Salina's heart from the first second she held her as a newborn baby. Jayden has grown into a beautiful young hard working woman. Salina and Jayden have always been close and Salina is very grateful to have her a part of such a big moment in her life!
Trace Hager

Trace is Salina's nephew. He is 18 years young and just bought his first home and lives with his girlfriend and their two dogs. Fun fact-his girlfriend is Nathan's oldest daughter Eryn! He has been working hard at the same job since high school and has worked his way up into management. He also is a very talented wood-worker and helped build stairs at Salina's old house. He is the kind of young man that is happy to help whenever asked!
Jessica McDonough

Salina and Jessica have been best friends since Elementary school. They have shared countless memories and laughs. One of their favorite memories is the time they both went to a concert of 55,000 people with different friend groups and ended up having seats right next to each other which was completely unplanned!! If that isn't serendipity, then what is!?!
Lane Heyn

Lane is another of Salina's nephews. He is a Jr. in high school. He is passionate about Basketball and plays almost year round. When not playing basketball, he enjoys video games and watching WWE with his Dad. Lane has grown into a wonderful and quite funny young man, always giving hugs and happy to sit and talk with all of the adults in his life.

Monica is also a cousin of Salina's that is more of a sister. Salina has watched Monica grow into a wonderful mom and woman over the years. She is incredibly strong and determined. When she sets her mind to something she always succeeds! Salina is grateful to call her a sister.
Dusty Hager

Dusty is also Salina's nephew and is a very hard working young man. He recently did some landscaping at our house and it turned out perfect!! As most house projects would have it, there was some unexpected extra work that he took care of with a smile on his face. He recently welcomed his first baby girl into the world and made Salina a Great Aunt for the first time!!
Jolene Young-Oeltjen

Salina and Jolene go way back, they met when Salina was 16 years old. Jolene stood up for Salina to a bunch of not so nice girls and from that moment Salina knew Jolene was someone special. They have always had the best of times together. Even when their lives have been on totally different paths they somehow always keep in touch and show up for each other in all the important moments.
Trevin Brown

Trevin is Salina's nephew. He is a year older than Emmett so they have spent a lot of time growing up together and have an awesome cousin/bestie relationship. Trevin loves basketball, specifically the Chicago Bulls! He also enjoys Tennis and spent a good amount of time learning BJJ. Trevin is young but has one great big heart, he is incredibly sweet and kind to all.
Shanae-Nicole Austin

Shanae is Salina's baby cousin. Salina lived with her and Shanae's Mom (Salina's Aunt Cindy) for a few months when Emmett was a baby. Shanae and Salina quickly became very close. Shanae has always been mature for her age, she always knows the most perfect thing to say in a given moment. She has a huge heart and the most infectious personality and laugh.
Brynn Pitzer

Brynn is technically Salina's second cousin but in Salina's eyes Brynn is her niece. Brynn is one of the sweetest young ladies and has grown into a mature and hard working woman. Salina and Brynn share the same love for Bravo T.V. shows and their pet cats!!
Stephanie Saathoff
Officiant
Stephanie and Nathan became friends while working an overnight position at Mayo Clinic many years ago. They learned they both enjoy the same genre of books and TV shows among other things. Stephanie was the first friend Nathan introduced Salina too and they hit it off immediately! Stephanie and Salina have enjoyed a concert and comedy show together so it turns out they also share similar interests. Nathan and Salina knew if they were to get engaged someday Steph would be their first choice of being their wedding officiant.
